    The Rear Guard…
    One day, captain Johanssen of the Peltarch Defenders calls Mark to his office. Here, they have a short conversation about Mark's current career, and his capabilities with a crossbow.
    Then, Johanssen asks a favour of Mark, tasking him with writing a report on the mechanism and tactical use of crossbows, as well as collecting 20 decent quality crossbows, but this without spending any money on them.

    The details of how I attained these, I'll keep to myself, as well as what's written down in the book. Anyone wishing to read the book may do so.

    The reward was said to be a magical crossbow, which senator Evendur was once planning to purchase.

    When Mark finally finished his assignment, the reward was, indeed, this crossbow, the book he had written and a promotion to Sergeant.

    Upon being handed the crossbow, however, captain Johanssen said "And quite frankly, I'm happy to be rid of it.", so this might not be the end of the quest._
