@9162d4b034:
Announcing the public opening of the Nelanther Tales Website. Nelanther tales is a Neverwinter Nights 2 Persistant World being created by a number of Narfell DMs, staff members, and developers.
Nelanther Tales is a roleplay-centric server set within the Nelanther Isles off the coasts of Amn, Tethyr and Calimshan, in the southwestern region of Faerun. It is a place of adventure and daring, political intrigue and hidden secrets, backstabbing and action on the high seas.
Players will begin in the freeport of Tiash: a burgeoning port city built on the coast of one of the busiest channels in the Sea of Swords from there they can explore the depths of the ever-changing Wierding Wood, sail the waves to pirate infested islands holding ancient secrets and frightful dangers, or turn inward to the plotting, intregue and political strife of the fledgling port city.
Nelanther Tales aims to immerse players within an atmosphere akin to traditional Pen and Paper games, while taking advantage of the attributes of an online Persistent World and the Neverwinter Nights 2 engine to create a dynamic and exciting gaming experience. We strive to form a mature and respectful community focused on in-depth roleplaying that merits meaningful reward and advancement in the world.
Those that enjoy classic D&D adventure, challenging yet exciting plots, and character growth will find Nelanther Tales as an entertaining and rewarding PW choice.
