Seeking payment

Just after midday, a grou pof adventurers is seen exitting the sewers in the Docks District, some with a haunted look about them, some with a greedy look of payment to come, and the others simply excited from the adventure had. Led by a woman in black and gold plate armor, twin maces hanging on either hip, they make their way towards the Civic District.
Smelling horrible, the group goes to seek the payment promised them by Lieutenant Eowiel Senalla, who also gave them authorization to go into the sewers in response to the hordes of rats fleeing into the commerce district.
According to accounts of the adventure, the rats were fleeing from several gelly squares (recognizable as gelatinous cubes by the more knowledgable) and were promptly defeated after hard fighting. Further information is given of a room filled with torture devices that seemed to be either haunted or containing hidden captives, the souls, if indeed they were souls, were attempted to be laid to rest by the Umberlite priestess Maces, though information is incomplete.
The group led by the woman called Maces, though her name was given as Taria of the Black Sails Shipping Company, and the others giving their names as Quin, Gideon, Anastasia, Zeldor, Serio,and Zarius.

The group is soon informed that their payment, and a well earned one at that, is awaiting them in the hands of Lieutenant Senella and they can find her at the Bardic College or the Tower of Cerulean Stars.
