A notice is posted in Jiyyd and word sent out to surrounding areas that the temple of Helm will be offering protection to all those Helmite Eastlanders who have peacefully surrendered. Any accused of crimes will be judged impartially by the church. Those who formerly held command positions within the bandit army will be carefully scrutinized by the priests. Those found innocent of any wrongdoing will be welcomed into the temple's care.
