Kayleb's Penance...

(not really a story … more a chronicle of Kayleb's acts of self abasement).
To purify his motivations, and to rid himslelf of improper affections for a certain female cleric of Torm, Kayleb buried himself in snow, and recited the "prayer of corporal mortification" one hundred times.
Kayleb was once slain by a Kobold. After making his way back to the land of the living, he joined a party that moved out to the west of Peltarch to engage the kobold. Kayleb found that he was motivated by a desire for revenge, so performed penance to purify his concience. Using Kolbold throwing darts gathered after the raid, he spelt out the name of his God in the snow, and sat naked in the near freezing creek till dawn.
