    Gilda Haven had been admitted to the local priesthood at a fairly early age, it was apparent that her skills and personailty would suit the calling of Garl Glittergold well. Having been brought up in a little village just outside of Shadowdale in the Dalelands it was quite the adventure to go to the relativly big city with all sorts of races and busling lifestyle. She had two friends come along with her since their parents felt they could do with a bit of life experiance. Whether that was why they really wanted them to leave or whether they just wanted a break from Dan and Sam's pranks has never become fully clear.

    Gilda and her friends spent the next couple of years getting to know how to live in a city, and in the case of Dan and Sam, how to get Gilda into trouble by playing pranks on the poor citizens of Shadowdale. Not that Gilda was a stranger herself to pranks and trick, rather the opposite, she shares the love of a well played trick as much as the next gnome, as does Glittergold. But it seems Dan and Sam's tricks more often then not got her into trouble as well, mainly because Dan and Sam tend to get a fix idea into their heads about a prank and never plan it through properly. Between her studies for the priesthood and keeping Sam and Dan out of trouble, Gilda has had her hands full.

    Some years pass, and the three friends carry on their everyday lives of studies for Gilda, pranks and such for the others. Finally Gilda has finished her basic training for the priesthood, she is brought before the Head Priestess of her order and given her quest that will ordain her as a full priestess of Glittergold. She is to go to a far off land known as "Narfell" to see what sorts of gems can be found in this region. There have been strange reports from travellers from this region of weird happenings in this place and also stories of gems that have been found. She is also to report on the status of any gnome settlements in the area. It is told a place known as "The Silver Valley" has become home to several gnomes. At this point the Head Priestess coughs a bit and says that she shall also have some companions on her journey, namely her friends Dan and Sam.

    Gilda could have sworn a sigh of relief left the people present to see them off as she, Sam and Dan started out on their journey to this "Narfell".

    The journey to Narfell had it's own mishaps, they had to quickly leave an Inn after Dan had had too many pints of ale and thought it would be a fun idea if he put sot in the cooking pot, or like the time they had to flee a bunch of farmers after Sam got it in his head to colour all the recently milked milk blue.

    Yes, it might actually be a relief to get to Narfell, with any luck there will be enough new things to explore to keep Sam and Dan busy. If nothing else, a good prank on a fresh unsuspecting populus should be fun.
