Daddies Spoiled Little Girl.

The elderly man nods to you softly Ah… Looking for a story now are you? Well here. Let me tell you of my soon to be famous grand-daughter!
Born and raised in Peltarch, to the Noble Mendt family, Noria had a childhood most could only dream about. Money was no object. What she wanted she got. She spent most of her time spending her daddies money but she had very few 'real' friends. All her schooling came from private tutors, and she was taught many of what, her father, called the noble languages. Elvish, Draconic and so on. If only to add prestige to our Mendt name, her father, Who is my son by the way. Very good fellow he is. Had her introduced to the magical arts at a young age.
Now as you know, money can buy houses, servants, ships and clothes. But it cant buy talent. Noria had a gift for the wizardly arts. Yes, her father had her introduced just so he could brag, But when she took to it like a fish to water he became nervous. That son of mine is a coward you know. Spends hundreds of coin on body guards and such. But I digress.
The stories of past Wizards worried him, he didnt want his precious little girl going insane with power. So as any good father wanted for his child, he wanted the best teachers money could buy. I guess he assumed they could keep her controled or some such.
Most of these teachers saw Noria for what she was. A spoiled child. She thought of commoners and anyone short of elves and humans as servants. Her people skills are appalling at best, and she had no humility. After being turned down so many times, Noria's father decided to take matters into his own hands.... Sort of.
He gave Noria a purse of coin, a hug, a kiss, and a boot in the arse. "I want you to study at the Spellweave Academy. So go and enroll. Youll find a guide in the commons, just head south to that ugly little town called Nordwalk... Or was it NornWok?... Bah! Just go." He isnt very good with names. Neither is Noria by the way. So if she forgets your name, or calls you something silly, take it in stride. She means nothing by it.
Noria didnt really know what to say. Suddenly all she had left was a purse full of coin, a sack full of designer clothes, her familiar, and a snack for the trip. She made her way to the commons to seek a guide like daddy said.
She couldnt have been sitting for longer than a few minutes, when out of nowhere she saw a man staring at her. After a few words were exchanged, she offered him a job a a guide. This new guide, Snicklefits... Nordwork....? No, Vine!... Yes, Vine was the fellows name. Took her south through the snowy roads and led her to the keep. But alas! Noone was there. But luckly, Snicklefits knew of where they could find the keeper. Aha! Hes a smart fellow isnt he?
He took her to a hamlet east of Norwick, A dirty little place called J-h-eed... Or something like that. Not very good with names you know. There Noria's adventure began. Snicklefits ran off with his smelly cat to go find a rabbit, or whatever those silly commoners eat, and left her there alone.
What was a poor girl to do...?
So that my friends is where Noria's story started. What will become of her you ask?
Well... Im not sure. I just hope she doesnt make a fool of herself. Now if youll excuse me. I have an appointment at the Wilted Flower.
