Rebirth

The towns and hills are silent, at sunrise and sunset. At first it is thought that perhaps he is somewhere else but then it becomes more noticable. Jerr has not been seen around for a week or two. If any find and ask Amith they will be told that his cough has developed into something worse, that he is running a high fever and is being taken care of in their own camp. Offers of healing aid are refused. (Amith, after all, is a priestess)
As the time progresses Amith looks more and more hagard and Bel, their son, seems slightly withdrawn. Near the end of the second week Bel begins to play more actively with the Jiyyd and Hin children and his laughter is the herald for the skalds return.
But when comes back there is a difference . . .
