    He seeks out other like minded men of arms to help him in the training of the defenders of Jiyyd*

    Atel points out that the Silver vally has a funcioning malitia/ trained people. And are ready to defend Jiyyd and the Vally whenever the need arises.

    Shak is intrested in being apart of the jiyyd offensive he is asking around town for GRAG.


  • Dwin offers his assistance with the military planning, as he knows a thing or two about defending the town.

    He spends most of his time giving the trebuchets a good tune-up, as their recent dormancy has lead to rust and the need for some small replacement parts.

    He also tells people not to worry about what the singers and dancers from Peltarch are sayin' about our own defenses. They are always tryin to point out this or that, and start trouble where they can. We all know Rando and Grag are gonna work fine together towards the common goal of defending Jiyyd, Moradin bless our town.

    Finally, he points out that for the next month or so, all crafters selling goods in Jiyyd are able to discount* the prices as they see fit for any folks that are going to take up arms and help defend against…whatever it is we're defending against.

    Mog is very busy of late running about town organizing things. Things noted he is working on are:

    1. gathering up all able bodied men and women for the silver valley, Jiyyd, and refugees from Norwick and the Camp.
    2. Sending said abled to Rando, Kull, and Wog for training as well as a sizable group to reinforce defenses.
    3. having woodworker crafters fashion
      a) stakes
      b) shields, spears, arrows,bows etc
      c) seige engines (catapults, balistae)
      d) towers
      e) barricades
    4. having stone masons (ie miners) work on:
      a) walls
      b) pits and traps
      c) plan X
    5. making sure arrow bundles are placed everywhere for use
    6. making sure water is everywhere for putting out fires as well as a large supply for seige
    7. calls in all Legionnaires besides the garriosn in the orc fortress
    8. takes stock of all spellcasters willing to aid and assigns them to Legion units or sends any needed ones to Amana
    9. talks to Deacon about plan X and gets him to start working on it
    10. has as many healing bags and kits amde as possible
    11. sends word to other groups requesting aid (IE wolves etc)
    12. plans with Amana, Jirka, Rando, Grag and any other leader on organizing a coherent defense.
    13. makes sure there is an abundance of spell componets
    14. sends word to Peltarch to gather any volunteers

    Mog is very busy.


  • Wog can be seen looking serios for once. He walks around jiyyd talking seriosly to commoners and tarverlers. Occasionly handing them a small pouch of gold and pointing them in the way of the blacksmith. He is also taking the leigonaires out on training missions almost daily and making sure they are all well prepared for any upcoming conflict. The other noticable thing is he is satying as far away from rando as he can, minaly to stop another fight breaking out

    ((OOC: i beleive that in Amana's recommendations to the council for the defense of Jiyyd, a Regualr MIlitia of the townsfolks and local farmers, wes to have been implemented.. Missing SDM has meant no feedback has come from this… however as far as i am concerned it has happened..Rando may be seen assiiting their training as far as i am concerned... SO go for it rando.

    also i have been not playing due to several issues. however i amnow back. I am sure i can take that folks wont use my own absence to suggest amana wasnt doing his duty. 😛 all OOC of course))


  • Zyphlin politely points out to those around that the General Grag and the cleric Amana were apointed by the Council of jiyyd as the heads of the Defense and all training and call to arms should be done through them, not random citizens. However he urges all citizens concerned about it to speak with them an help in any way they can in defending thier fine town.
