Draco is seen over the next few days after the large orc invasion to be avoiding Ginger and Gears both.
When he is near them, he doesn't approach or speak to them, and avoids eye contact with them both.
Draco is also missing his normally signature goggles (which, in turn, reveals his eyes, which are "coal black, through and through", and his symbol of Arvoreen is gone from around his neck.

Gears, on the other hand, seems to be in a largely good mood, grinning more often and having a temprorary dip in his usage of sarcasm.
