Rumors heard throughout Oscura.

  • Huddled in the corners, people whisper that the new Inquisitor was showing two men about the town. Both worn helms over the features and carried broad shields. Warriors, plainly. But why, and who were the mean garbed in raiment of green plate?

  • The Templar seems to give an approving nod when people speak of the new inquisitor, stating he supports her appointment fully and that few if any would be more apt to aquire scyth's former place upon the tribunal.

  • Seen often around the City is a man named Sil. He openly shows his faithfulness to Bane and is frequently seen in the temple praying. He doesnt talk much except to state his loyalty to Bane, Lord Gedder and the Banite Church.

  • People who frequent the monastery will notice that Keira has taken up residence there. When not training herself or other students, she can be seen in the temple or sitting in quiet contemplation of the Well.

  • ::A heavily armored Clayton Hocke was seen leaving the shiney coppers looking a bit less discontented then the usual. He was heard commenting coldly, if not politely, about a waitresses fine work and notable quality. He then made his way past the well, adjusting a metal gauntlet and walking out of town into the nars::

  • Jario of the Shiney Coppers inn has recently hired a new waitress, a pale northern beauty called Sigrlinn. She seems an odd sight in the city, often uncomfortable in the fetid oppressiveness of the underground, but seems to greatly enjoy her work in the inn. She beams as she works, a beacon of light in the otherwise gloomy inn.

  • _The young woman, known only as Katrina, is commonly seen around the public areas of Oscura. Little is known about her amongst the locals, her face is always kept covered by a helm and she can often be seen dressed in long flowing, black and purple robes.
She appears to be fluent in Undercommon, and seems to avoid speaking in common, resorting to quiet whispers to those she interacts with.

She also appears to frequent the temple often._

  • _More and more often men wearing black, and golden sashes, outfits or even whole armors are seen walking the streets of Arnath. Often going straight for the nearest Inn to get loaded, some are send to scout out the city, and contact any of the bigger groups about possible business.

They rarely wear helmets, demonstrating little fear of being recognised and seem to respect the underground rules.. for now._

  • A large figre fully cloaked with a hood is seen walking through oscara keeping to the walls and shadows tryibng to avoid anyone he meets. He can be seen looking at bits of paper and any infomation, occasionly taking notes, after looking around thorughly he quickly leaves

  • The Order of Discord was seen leaving Oscura in a rather large force some days prior and then returning with four large sacks, going straight into the temple. The temple of the deep was locked off for a short time until the large metal doors were finally unlocked and cast open while a strange smelling smoke rose out from within. The Soul Well seemed to be increasingly loud for with its agony and pain over the following hours after these events.

  • Word spreads that spiders have been seen scurrying about the walls of Oscura, many migrating from the surface to the dark regions of the city. One citizen would have been lost to their venemous bites if not for the healer in the docks region. All citizens are encouraged to keep an eye out for such creatures and report it to the Skull Krushers.

  • SkullCrushers are seen out in larger numbers recently due to reported spider attacks. The spiders seem to drop down from the cavern ceiling in numbers to try to overwelm citizens. One Oscura Guard and one SkullCrusher have died defending the city.

  • people speak of the soul well reacting oddly when the wizard Chaevre' Vaelen and the Bard Mirkali were studying it, Mirkali had Chaevre' use her magics to protect his mind so that he could divine the well, Chaevre' was however unprotected, she stood dangerously close to the edge of the well and even reached into it briefly, when she withdrew her hand she turned her gaze upon Mirkali and immediate set upon him with her great axe, Mirkali was lucky to escape into the nars under a haste spell. When asked about it Chaevre' merely states that "it seemed like the right thing to do at the time", witnesses think she may have been possessed, some say that the well has made her go insane, others simply say nothing but "i told you so".

  • Corde is seen often near the soul well, praying before it or studying it, seeming to bask within the agony and emotions of loss teeming from it. When asked what he is doing he points out that there are few mysteries, secrets, within narfell as great as this Well that feeds off the losses that cause the agony and pain of these wretched souls. For that, he is interested and curious, and seeks to better understand it and feel the pain of all those it pulls

  • Keira approaches Zach, enquiring when he would be able to get hold of some more dyes. Her mottled grey and white clothing apparently needs some of the cloth areas dyed white to provide better concealment in the snows of the Nars Pass

  • The purple and black robed, cowled figure sat comfortably in a lurking shadow of the Oscuran town square. Chatting quietly with his companion, a green clothed hissing fellow, masked as well. They continue there quiet converse 'till Nichal, the diseased, soar-filled brown haired man approaches them with a small giggle escaping his rashed lips.

"Wow," he giggles, "never seen so many people around before."

The dark robed man shifts his cowl towards him, perhaps if he ignored him the rotting excuse for a human being would leave. "Back off, wretch. I want none of your sickness" The green clothed man hisses a chuckle.

"Oh no," Nichal scratches a rash on his neck, "No no, if you listen you can get informaaa-tion." He grins a touch manicly, still rubbing viciously against his neck with his nails.

The green clothed man querries snakishly, "What sssort of informationss?" The dark robed man considers briefly, before a sound finally escapes his purple cowl: "I'm listening."

The sickly human giggles again, eyes wide, grinning. "Oooh, so -now- your interested, hmmm? Follow! Yes, follow me come along and I'll show you."

Rising without a sound, the dark figure follows shadily alongside the serpentine-like one. They follow Nichal to a darker corner of town, curious as to where the pathetic thing would lead them.

An hour passes, they return to the square. This time with an eye out for the Black Lotus Brotherhood. Rumor has it the shadowy purple clothed figure, named Von Du'Sharr, is seeking an audience with the Lotuses, as well as the snakish human, only calling himself Waldo.

  • Rumor has it that Zach from the store in front of the Banshee's Delight is offering to dye clothes and armor to anyone who presents the rag for incredibly reasonable prices.

  • People have been reporting someone or something casting darkness on them. No one has been hurt or injured from these as of yet, and no one knows what the possible intent of such attacks are for.

  • With each day a few new stragglers reach the city. Some appear to be the usual refugees looking for a new home. Yet, others look to be well to do merchants looking for a new outpost. It seems word is traveling and those that managed to flee Arnath alive are coming to their new home.

  • _Gorgus the Rothe Keeper was in a fuss the other day. It seems two of his rothe, Pinky and Brain, ran off on him. They ran out the gate before the guards could do anything.

Later, Gorgus ran into two dwarves of the Dolvak Clan who pointed him in the direction of the fleeing rothe. With their help Gorgus was able to recover the beasts._
