The Slimy Creature of Rawlinswood

Once there was a gnome, brave as a halfling and noble as a human. He was summoned forth to wage war against goblins, who have been roused by some High Chieftain. This would mark the beggining of the Goblin Wars.
The gnome fought with goblins, defending Norwick and its people. After many battles took place at Norwick, and all the goblins has retreated deep into Rawliswood, the gnome looked at his fallen comrades. He began to feel very lonely for the next few days, keeping his distance from the rest of the townsfolk. When Neverwinter sent some messengers telling Jandor Norwick of the victory back in their town, the gnome become more and more strange. He began loosing hair and his skin was getting pale from all the brooding depression. The guards told him one day to help clean up the battlefield of the fallen. This drove him mad. Seeing so much blood and gore, the cause of some weak goblinoids have pushed him to the limit…
...now, he rests in a cave...attacking anyone who trespassed his property. He began to look like a pale and slimy creature, who hasn't seen daylight for many years.
The gnome, having nothing to eat, feasted on the fauna of Rawlinswood, and sometimes even with goblins he hunted down. He lured even people in his lair and murdered them. Bones and other gruesome tokens are scattered about his lair, warning any other foolish adventurer of his ill state of mind...
