    In a place named N’Jast, only a hundred miles from Jiyyd, three little kids grew up. Two small boys and a tiny girl. And yes, they were really mini as they were halflings. Neither one had a true name, but to each other they were known as Tac, Cat, and Act. To others they were known by a vast array of fake names, such as; Rodger, Sarah, Tom, Robert, Sam, Tony, Sally, and the list goes on.

    Each one quick and sly, and they used their talents to get what they wanted.

    Tac started his thieving and deceiving as soon as he realized the importance of coin. Each day he would head to the market and begin. Sliding around near purses and bumping into random people in the market, he would quickly fill his own pockets with silver and gold coins.

    Act, who, as his name suggests, can wiggle his way out of any situation or put on a front to get what he wants. Some days he would make himself up as a poor, destitute boy who lost everything, and he would beg for food and money, or clothing that he would later sell for gold.
    Sometimes Act would deploy his little plans with Tac. They were the same age and good friends, so they always split their income and laugh about it later. Act would distract an entire crowd of viewers as Tac slipped around in the back, filling up his pockets. Act also was able to persuade and bluff his way out of trouble, or even get Tac and Cat out of trouble if they were ever caught doing their wrongful deeds.

    Cat, the little girl, is one year younger than the two boys. The three would always play around together and enjoy sweets as they joked and talked. She was lawful and innocent until Tac showed her why he never seemed to run out of candy and toys. Tac gave her a single lesson in thieving, and once Cat started to pick pockets, she never quit. Cat, later, began to steal larger items than just gold and jewelry, and as she is surprisingly sneaky and silent, she did well.

    Now that the three good friends are turning into adults, they decided to head off and begin their work someplace larger. They decided to move to Peltarch, but as they found out it was currently in civil war, they decided to stay at Jiyyd until everything settles down. Until that time comes though, they’ll be filling their pockets in Jiyyd.
