Official Notice by order of the Jiyyd Council

  • Legion

    Kill any banite on sight per order defense council… They have thwarted our simple town long enough posts sign outside Jiyyd

    PER ORDER DEFENSE COUNCIL ANY KNOWN BANITES TO BE KILLED ON SIGHT INSIDE OUR WALLS!

    Disclaimer: Jiyyd council is not responsible for citizens getting second hand blood spray from the death of a banite and will not pay your cleaning bills…...

  • ((So let it be written, so let it be done.))

  • ((bump. Any chance we can get this stickied?))

  • On her frequent visits to Jiyyd, Keira is even more quiet than normal. She also tends to watch warily and give Legion members and Raryldor a wide berth.

  • Scut: "Praise Yondalla, at last!"

    Ael: breathes a sigh of relief and offers a grateful prayer to Solonor

    Crud: sharpens his horns

  • ::Lens just shakes his head and sighs as Mog heads off::

  • ::looks to lens::

    But Mog not educating, and ordinance says 'By Order of the town Council, preaching, teaching or speaking the names of known Evil Gods shall NOT be permitted within the walls of Jiyyd. Those who do not heed this town ordinance shall be banned from the town of Jiyyd. NO EXCEPTIONS. '

    Mog just thinking wording bad.

    ::Mog shrugs and goes off hoping the guards have the same interpetation as Lens::

  • ::The following is pointed out to Mog::

    @d07ad88352:

    There are exceptions with regard to education but if you are a follower and believer to a God of evil intent, then your words are not welcome.

    ::Lens looks to Mog::

    If you working for the greater good. This is not an issue Mog. It is those that would speak their names to spread their evil ways is what is not allowed.

    ::smiles:: Have a good day Mog.

  • Legion

    pulls mog aside … Mog yer fine keep duin whuteva yer duin grins to him

  • A priest in Peltarch makes silent resolutions – though apparently very entertaining ones, judging by his facial expressions as he makes them -- upon hearing this news.

  • Mog forwards a request to the Jiyyd council for clarification.

    Council,

    Mog hear recent law saying no can say names of evil gods in town.
    Mog think this good plan. Mog confused though. How Mog direct
    troops to look for certain god followers or ask suspects if they
    follow specific God? Mog no want get exiled cause Mog went up
    to questionable priest and ask if priest is priest of some specific
    evil god. Mog appreciate help from council on this so Mog can
    help fulfill Council laws. Maybe forbidden for followers or
    believers to say name and not those saying name to enforce law?

    Mog hope Moradin guide council in this.

    Mog

  • Sitting over a mug of beer at the Regal Whore Inn, in front of the halfing bartender at the counter, Tyche, dressed in a gaudy, olive-coloured outfit, rubs his temple with one hand, idly drumming a staccato rhythme with the fingers of his other. Shifting on the stool slightly, he raises an eyebrow and smirks, partially.

    "So . . . " He begins speaking in a nonchalant tone, conversationally. "You can't speak the name of evil Gods, right? Right." He nods, answering his own question. "What about the verb 'bane,' though?" He raises a hand, defensively. "Not the guy with the tyranny and the evil, but, you know, to be the bane of such and such?" Shifting his voice up an octave, he booms quietly in an overly dramatic voice. "'I am the bane of your existence, n'er-do-well!'" Ty chuckles, and returns to a normal tone., "I can say that, right?"

    He smirks his gambler's smirk and takes a pull from his beer.
