A small notice outside the Regal Whore Inn...

This is dedicated to the brave defenders of Jiyyd that protected the town from an orcish counter-attack while the Legion was engaging the orc fortress.
Even though all were from different walks of life and hardly knew each other, all were committed to making sure there was a town that remained at the end of the day. It is no mean feat to work together, especially against well-trained orcs.
It is a miracle that no townsfolk were killed in the brief incursion. Several defenders nearly lost their lives in ridding the town of the orc menace, and I salute your noble act. There is no greater honour that I can bestow upon all of the defenders, other than acknowledging that you were there when we needed you most, and that we will not forget your heroism.

//OOC: Once again, kudos go to Belthor, who single-handedly ran an event for -two- groups comprising nearly 40 people, and making it both enjoyable and exciting for the players that day. Thank you, Belthor!

Tyche strolls by the Regal Whore, and sees the notice; reading it, he nods his head a few times, then slings his pack off of his back. Reaching inside, he removes a bottle of Romani wine and pours it out at the foot of the wall, under the notice. He swings his pack back on, over his shoulders, and reaches into one of the multitude of pockets on his vest, producing two copper coins – throwing them onto the ground, he smiles and mutters:
"Gotta pive 'em somethin' to get a little help off that Wall."

Mog has a brief chuckle and smiles when a passerby relays Zoma's words.
Mog no worried, Legion did right thing, when farmer have wasp problem does farmer kill each wasp after it bite farmer or farmer finds and destroys nest? Smart farmer destroys nest. Better to confront problem and wipe it out instead of getting bit by endless stream of wasps. What this person rather do? Fight orcs till end of time? Orcs breed fast, killing them as they come never work. But if legion can crush the nest and make plains secure, then no have to worry about orcs at all. No matter, when Legion leave Legion knew Kara and other brave defenders were in Jiyyd in case orcs got around Legion. Mog think people who spread rumors need find better things to do. Mog even heard Legion camp fell which Mog thought funny as Mog was in the camp when supposedly fell. Mog feel real good for being dead.
Mog then heads to the Legion hall leaving a lingering laugh in the air.

A lone man wearing a decaying looking cloak stopped by the notice as he took a silent moment to read.
"Hmpf… Finally, the unsung heroes managed to get some...credits for defending the town when it is the....Legion's duty. The irony is... the Legions were the only ones... proclaimed as heroes. Shame on them." The one eyed man muttered to himself and shook his head as he leaves.
