Lions, Tigers and Bears
-
OK folks, listen up!
Lions, bears, funny dragon things, and not to mention umberhulks are strictly forbidden inside of Norwick. Jandor’s guards would kill them on sight. So will the militia. Essentially, anything that couldn’t pass for a small natural animal would be attacked, or the very least shooed out of town.
The guards and the militia don’t know the difference between a real threat, and a shape shifted Druid or Wizard. Entering town in one of these shapes would at the very least get you attacked by Jandor’s guard even if the militia isn’t present.
The same would apply to overly large and scary familiars. At least with a familiar (or animal companion), there is usually an “owner” present to yell at first.
I would ask that if the DM team sees this, to handle Jandor’s guard and act accordingly if you have time. The next time Maya sees a bear wander through town, she’ll be looking to get a new rug in the captain’s quarters.
