No more shall people speak in hushed whispers about GRIM times, for these times are OVER! The Docks are repaired, our foes DAUNTED and our Heroes are RETURNED! The City welcomes Kasumi Ungarath back with OPEN ARMS! May he stand as an example that we are NEVER abandoned by those we place our trust in! Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! The Advisor Eowiel Senella and Senior Town Crier to our fair city has returned from her extended leave and has resumed her duties for Peltarch! She remarked that she is GLAD to be home and looks forward to catching up on her service to her beloved city! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The honourable and good pair Wynn and Dram have come to our city to AID a growing problem! Hin children abound in the docks district, their natural inquisitivness forcing them to become the nuissance to which we are ALL well aquainted with! This is bad for the city as well as the poor children! However, through the efforts of these two FINE hin this problem will become a thing of the PAST! The city of Peltarch is well known for rewarding it's altruistic citizens and friends, and Wynn and Dram are NO exception! Already many upstanding citizens, guards and defenders have donated coin and helped the charitable pair in their good work in the docks district! More assistance is ALWAYS welcomed by Wynn and Dram and their young charges! May the docks district continue to flourish with the constant AID from folk such as Wynn, Dram and the Lady Desdiradta! Hear ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Head Town Crier and Advisor to Senator Shana Je'laan, Eowiel Senella, will be taking a leave of ABSENCE from her duties in our fair City to attend to business in the west. The Advisor and well known bard of the City has assured that her absence will be temporary and will affect her duties to the city only minimally at MOST. She is intent on leaving in thrice a tenday. The City wishes her a SAFE and fruitful journey! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Consortium of Peltarch is searching for talent from our city! Those skilled in the brewing of Potions, mining and excavating, woodtending, woodworking and gemsetting should approach a representative of our vaunted trading coster if they are interested in sharing in the Noble Consortium's profits. Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear ye! After the recent crisis in the Docks it is once again admirable that our own noble citizens will rise up and ASSIST our city in it's time of need. The Jewel of the Icelace may be shaken, but it can never be brought to it's knees with honourable people such as the Lady Des. She has single-handedly helped rebuild the Docks after the immensely damaging explosion with her altruistic financial assistance! The Seafarers have expressed their own gratitude to the Lady Des and we are assured that the Docks district will be humming with TRADE very soon indeed thanks to this generous Lady! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The City Of Peltarch can yet claim to have it's Heroes! In this time of NEED and dispair the call was answered by our own Lady Linah and her husband the valiant Senator Vino Sten who have risked themselves and their safety for the lives of our innocent citizens! The brave pair have RESCUED several men, women and children from the VILE clutches of the Eastland Mauraders! The injured were then taken to Jiyyd and healed. Truely it is a welcome notion that when times are hard we can rely upon our own to stand up and PROTECT us! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! An UPDATE on the Lavindo tragedy! It has come to light after a joint investigation by the Knights of The Cerulean Star and the Defenders that Emma Lavindo was infact CAPTURED by Eastlanders. Further details are naturally classified, however it is assured that both the Knights and Defenders are doing their UTMOST for our lost Damsel! May they meet with more luck than our city has in recent times! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Misfortune once again has reared it's ugly head in our city! The Lady Tymora has abandoned us in our time of mourning and tragedy and now her accursed sister balefully gazes down upon us! Last eve, the 18th of Elient, the recently arrived ship The Queen Of Ice errupted in a fiery explosion as it's cargo of kegpowder went alight! The FAITHFUL Guard were quick to evacuate the entire North Docks before the explosion, however collateral damage was still high! A nearby ship The Sirius was so badly damaged by the blast that it too sank! Most SICKENING is the fact that the Guard have announced FOUL PLAY was to blame, and are currently WITHOUT a suspect! What disaster will follow this one, to continue the CHAIN of ill fortune that besets The Jewel Of The Icelace? Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! More ill fate has befallen a loyal citizen of our city! Nay, not merely a citizen but a faithful Knight Of The Cerulean Star AND dependable Guard who has been STALWART in her service to The Jewel Of The Icelace! Emma Lavindo has been reported MISSING! This brave and noble servant of Peltarch was last seen diligently doing her duty on the outskirts of our territories and has vanished without a trace! Truly this is a time of TRAGEDY for our city when it's HEROES are being lost one after another! Any who learn of Emma Lavindo's fate should inform Captain Dunderstone or Anakore without delay! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! Peltarch's greatest magician, our most jovial inhabitant and the Daper Jackanape of our hearts who has been given the fond nickname of The Fool has FALLEN to foes far south of our City's walls. Children across the city WEEP for their eternal friend and trickster, while many of the elder residents also fail to hold back tears! Truely the Jewel of The Icelace has been brought to it's knees with grief and tears! We solidly PRAY that the Paladin Roland Brynmor, in all his nobility can save the soul of our dearest friend! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Defender Talgrath has had a sign placed stating he is ALIVE! No signs were placed by the nine defenders who survived this morning's skirmish with Eastlanders, nor by the two who died. Why Defender Talgrath has elected to place signs regarding his status is UNKNOWN currently! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! The elven druid Andu has treated the Holy Tree consecrated to Azuth with his strenth in the powers of nature. May he be commended for assisting our glorious city in maintaining it's amicable approach to magecraft! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye, the minor wheat cargo schedualed to arrive at the end of Flamerule has been delayed a tenday, due to poor weather. All Seafarer customers involved in wheat deliveries are requested to inquire of their dockhand of the new date, if the delivery effects them. Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye good citizens of Peltarch, the Jewel of The Icelace's own adored Lady Linah Losell spends her time working with an HONEST effort to bring prosperity into this city of ours! She uses her own ingenuity and innovation and does not rely on morally questionable stimulus to boost the city's wealth! For such a woman as this, what can the city do? What can you do to repay her, I hear you ask? Certainally she already has the admiration of ALL, but now we put to you, the citizens of Peltarch, to each grant the altruistic Lady Linah a SINGLE wildflower. Hear Ye, hear ye! Grant the Lovely Lady Linah a flower for her time! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! The resident Paladin of Helm, Roland Brynmor has become a polular man amongst the children of the city, as they follow him around in awe. Truely he is an INSPIRATION to the people of the city and is a man who can put pride aside for the good of the common folk and their children! He has cast aside his traditional burnished steel armour and replaced it with a delightfully colourful suit of platemail to ENDEAR the little ones to him! May he guard their hearts for evermore! Hear Ye!

  • Hear Ye! Resident Priest of Azuth, Evendur Mildsilver is available to mages who wish to know the WISDOM of The High One! His council on matters pertaining to RESPONSIBLE use of the Art are welcomed in a city that looks favourably upon spellcasters who know when to, and how to use the Weave appropriately. Sir Mildsilver can be found in the Library of the City, The Commons or just inside the outer walls at the Holy Tree Consecrated to Azuth! Hear Ye!

  • Today, as opposed to a usual shouted announcements, the city criers are merrily singing a familiar tune.

Here ye folks, come one and all, of a great man this one sings..
Everyman should know his worth, and the good joy that he brings.
It’s time for every man and wife, each boy and girl be called,
So they can hear the greatness of a man named Rath Ashald.
Always true, always wise, his leadership is strong.
So listen clear, and know ye well, the subject of this song.
Never once has Peltarch seen a man so great as he.
Always helping those in need, such generosity!
Keep well the knowledge of this song, be always ye enthralled.
Everything is better when it’s done by Rath Ashald!

  • The Criers heralding the following announcement do so with a bemused expression, as though vaguely confused by it themselves.

Hear Ye! All Priests of Kelemvor residing within the city should be PRAISED for their convienience and the ease they allow people to reach them. Those living without, should take heed and think a little longer next time they make a home, in CONSIDERATION for the Gods fearing populace and the long trips they don't like making! Hear Ye!

  • @d5656d6168=Caoimh:
