This young man's tale started when he was 17. Kendal used to work on a farm near the forest which bugbears roamed, always pillaging the countryside and one day, his farm, which they stole and smashed almost all the objects in his hut. But one dat, when he was working in the field when a bugbear came clashing out of the wood chasing a man in tattered cloths as fast as a cat with a mouse. Kendal swiftly grabbed the closest object, which happened to be a large hammer, and ran towards the bugbear. Before Kendal could reach him though, it bashed in the poor man's skull and wildly charged after Kendal. The bugbear swung first, narrowly missing Kendals legs, while at the exact second Kendal clobbered him in the jaw, killing it instantly. A funeral was held for the poor man which turned out to be the mayor's son. A few days afterwards the moyor presented Kendal with a medal for his bravery. Which later that day some men in near-glowing robes sought for him and found him, explaining their purpose there, Kendal followed. Did all of this tale begin with Kendal trying to save? Or was it vengeance...?
