NHS Scavenger Hunt


  • Cyrian of the Narfell Historical Society announces it is holding a scavenger hunt to promote the Society!
    Any and All are welcome to participate!
    All you need to do is find the objects on the list and bring them to Cyrian to donate to the NHS to be used to enhance and promote the history of Narfell for all generations new and old!

    #1: A piece of a War Machine. Any piece will do but if you should bring a control Orb which are known to power these massive tools of destruction that would be even better!
    War machines were used by eastlanders for a long time to keep their mines safe and to fend off any would be invaders. There was also a war machine guarding the entrance to the Lost City!

    #2: A scale from the Dragon known as Rass. Rass was a very large Red Dragon that the Eastlanders somehow convinced to serve them for many years. She lived in the hill just outside the Romani Camp and, during the Eastlander War, had her wing wounded forcing her to flee the battle. The battle occured deep in the eastlander caves.

    #3: Friar Freds Necklace. Most of you don't even know who he is but wayyy back in the day he was the healer for Norwick. In times of past he would give this necklace to adventurers who could bring him bunches of fenberries from the rawlinswood which at the time was a very dangerous place for young adventurers.

    #4: A portrait of the Druid Glenn. Seems easy you say, well how about a portrait of all the glenns from present to past! As I recall there have been three or four, perhaps one of the old druids can remember? In any case a portrait of each is what I seek preferably in the condition they were in while inhabited but if not a portrait as they are now will suffice.

    #5: Portraits of the following heroes! Kanen Hightower. Zyphlin R. (The Blue Bard), Adam Bromley, Krig Skullboil, Grag, Raryldor, Jerrick Rayfe, ill think of more but feel free to bring me other portraits to refresh my memory!

    #6: A list of longstanding Guilds and a list of their current and former guild leaders including the person responsible for creating the guild!

    #7: Anything Unique to a shop from the following places: Jiyyd, Ormpur, Arnath, Elven Encampment, Boarshead Inn.

    #8: Detailed map of any of these locations Preferably old versions: Narfell, Skaras Cave, Goblin Caves, Bugbear Warrens, Vinessas Cave, Ogre Caves, The Lost City, Mintas, Eastlander Maurader Mines, Eastlander Camp, Cold Caves, Underground Temple.

    #9: Any artifact from the Lost City. Old artifact only (5+yrs ago)

    #10: Any object from a destroyed town or village including Old Norwick, Jiyyd, Elven camp, Gypsy Camp, and Ormpur. Can include equipment worn by the town defenders, signposts, paintings, maps, keys, dishes, names of citizens or shops etc.

    As items come in I may come up with new ideas of things to find!


  • An object was donated to the NHS by Shallyah which followed a brief history lesson on the Ancient Netherese and the Lost City.

    The object is called **"The Black Tower" a tower shield discovered in the Lost City relatively recently.
    "Recently discovered past the chamber where the fabled **Scythohalingfel sat, near the portal to the realms of the Hungry One " - Shallyah

    "Discovered in a cache of relics.
    There was also a **map of the Lost City found at a different time. - Shallyah

    Though this item is from the Lost City it is not one that I seek on the lost for the scavenger hunt. Lost City items from the time I am looking for are both powerful and also cursed. They carry with them certain defects that degrade the overall quality.
    Another way to tell it is a Lost City relic is that they have been held within the cursed city for so long that they are now saturated with an evil aura allowing only those with ill intentions to wield them.

    Until such a time as the Museum is built the object shall be stored safely and displayed one day each week for a few hours for any who wish to see it. You may find Cyrian via the GPS as the location to be displayed will change so that those who cannot travel may still view it.
