The Away Thread


  • I'll be stepping down as a DM. It's been a nice long ride, but I've lately found myself less and less inclined to do the DMing part. There are multiple reasons for this, but there's really no drama behind it. I'm not going anywhere though, and will probably be hopping in as a PC more often soon enough 🙂 I look forward to being able to be only a player again!

  • I am going on my honeymoon from Saturday the 9th of February to the 18th. So from today I foresee myself being busy packing/getting last minute stuff ready then going, don’t think I will be in game until the 18th again.

    See you all soon! Will occasionally likely open Discord maybe. Probably when on the crapper 😉 Enjoy that image.

    I'm taking my whole family to Williamsburg, VA for a week, starting Saturday 29 Dec. While I will have the computer with me, Internet connections and speeds are unknown, if possible at all. I don't expect I'll be back to Narfell until Jan 5 or 6. See you all then.

  • Away for weekend to folks pre-Christmas. Will return late Sunday 9th, or Monday 10th

    I"m taking my family to Ohio for Thanksgiving. I'll be back on Narfell after the weekend. Don't burn down Peltarch while I'm gone!


  • Good news everyone! I found a sap, er, willing friend to look after my four kids for two nights so I can go away with my wife for the first time in 18 months.

    As such I won’t be in game or contactable from Sunday morning US time until Thursday morning US time.

  • Will be away again until 3/11 on a trip.Will have some access in forum/discord. The Council with the help of the honorary kin Z and a couple more trusted adventurers keeps the digging process going among the other daily kinfolk stuff.


  • Will be away for 3-4 days although i will have access in discord and forums. Until then (and wishfully for many ig decades to come) consider that Thorin is fully focused to the dwarves protection (even when offline as player) and keeps a constant eye for outside threats, along with all of the Council members, not giving the slightest opportunity to breach their security from now on.


  • On holiday from tomorrow in Tenerife! Probably not on very much.
