Rumors circulate through the city about a large group of outsiders passing through, notably including Magistrate Shannon D'arneau of Peltarch. Further rumors about the group indicate that they may have been involved in a scuffle at the Banshee's Delight, and that they may have had an encounter with a cadre of armed men at the Shiny Coppers which ended rather more peaceably.
-
Rumors reaching the patrons in the Coppers indicate some local bandits attempted to shake down two red-headed surfacer women in the upper city near the entrance to the Crumbling Docks. One version claimed the two women were accompanied by a surly dwarf and a big bleeding ogre.
"The ogre didn't do nothin' but stand there stinking while the dwarf and the two women fought off them bandits."
The bandit boss was seen slinking away, badly injured. He claimed he would'a had that dwarf if he didn't have so many healing potions. The two women, the dwarf and the ogre disappeared into the crumbling docks.

_The red-headed woman, at first appearing fascinated with her ever-changing subject, then increasingly frustrated, seems downright desolate by now. Pale, drained and hollow-eyed, she stands at the edge of the Well for hours, sometimes working, at other times just staring.
Rumour has it the artist already collapsed once, when the lights from the Well seemed to swirl and flash intensely. Dirge tended to the woman, who came to after screaming herself hoarse during her lapse of consciousness._
-
The red-headed woman keeps coming back to the Well of Souls, staring, sketching furiously and painting in swirling strokes across her canvas, never seeming satisfied with the result. She often hums, perhaps to keep the screams at bay, paying passers by little to no attention unless they adress her directly.

_Rumour has it a sizable group of surfacers recently assisted Father Dagon with some manner of exorcism, the ritual causing a chill to descend upon the area, lifted upon the apparantly successful conclusion. A grumbling Rens could be observed carrying the formerly afflicted party off for further care, alive but unconcious.
One of the outsiders remained in Oscura afterwards, an elegant red-headed woman heading directly to the Well of Souls to remain there for some time. She returns several times over the coming days, at first with a simple sketch book to draw in, followed by canvas and paints. The woman, while initially focusing on her own observations, does seek Dirge's council on the subject of the Well also, should the painter be willing to share some insight._
On one of Isolde's Visits back to Oscura, Abigail confronts her showing her Peacekeeper badge and sitting next to her as she documented the rift whispers softly.

Rumour has it that the Kyzanos family have managed to secure a large Thayan supplier of slaves from the hands of the Sakhmet family. While the details of what brought this on are not known, it will certainly adjust the balance of power between these two houses.
