  • I've finally arrived.
    Peltarch, they're supposed to be in hiding near here.
    as far as i know they dont know i survived, an oversight that will prove fatal if i get my way…

    But first things first, i've set myself up in an inn in the main city and am keeping an eye out for any signs of the bastards, but i doubt they will be found easily...

    Met a strange wizard as well, obviously a nefarious sort, even though he was quite helpfull in setting me up with some coin and direction.
    He has no idea... i might have a use for him yet.


  • Went to the giantspire foothills near Peltarch on one of our little forays the other day.
    Never fought a giant before, and now that i have, i can be very patient before ever fighting one again…
    Those manticores are something else too, but i hear their hides hold magic very well, i may have to go back to get some later.

    Ofcourse, nothing we ever do can go without a hitch.
    one giant, quite a bit different from the others, started casting spells and although i'm not sure i think she was helping us...
    Never did find out, the mages set her on fire and dropped massive chunks of ice on her.
    Then it got dangerous ! Her husband and his fire elemental pets came looking for her.
    We decided to make a strategic retreat and came back later to finish him off.

    No progress on the Jergal followers.. it's becoming frustrating not to catch sight of them for so long.. something HAS to happen.


  • Making progress now, the wizard that has befriended me, or i've befriended… not sure yet, seems to be well connected. I've asked him for help in finding the mercenaries i'm looking for and it looks like i finally have some clue as to who i'm looking for...

    Followers of Jergal, I can't believe i did not think of this myself, it makes perfect sense. As i feel my revenge getting closer my energy is renewed, everything i have suffered will be repaid and then some...

    On a side note i finally got the coin together for my custom plate ! getting it altered was a pain but well worth it, i am pleased.


  • Found another town located underground. not sure if they're hiding here, but it explains why i couldnt find them, this place is vast.
    And the people are even more tight lipped.

    Went into the Crypts outside the old ruined town the other day, found a wounded helmite claiming there was a necromancer defiling the crypt.
    Upon investigation we indeed found the necromancer, couldnt get anything usefull out of him so he was disposed of.
    Found another helmite on the way so we freed that one hoping for some kind of reward.

    Never Trust a Helmite.


  • I've setteled in nicely in peltarch, even found an odd job or two to finance my staying at the inn for a longer period of time.
    A kobold was nice enough to deliver a shield to me as well, quite the lucky find.

    My search is not going well, i've been asking around discreetly but either nobody knows or no-one cares to tell me what i need to know..
    Looks like i will be here for a while.

    Met a friend of that wizard recently… quite a stunning woman. She seems to enjoy speaking in riddles and comments that raise more questions then awnsers... gave me a strange ring, cant make anything of it, even though i'm not entirely new at matters of the arcane. I've decided to wear it as instructed, for the time being. Something good may yet come of it.
