_A couple days after Cray's return, he begins to hear the news of the various troubles in Oscura that have occured while he was away.
Cray is especially bitter about the attack on innocent civilians outside the banshee, and he won't just let it go. Despite the case being cold, he investigates diligently. Cray tracks down rumoured witnesses of the event and questions them in length and detail, noting their story, even reinterviewing them later on and checking their story for holes against his notes of the witnesses previous statements. Cray leaves no citizen, slave or trader alone. Just watching his grunt investigative work is exhausting. Cray's passion and drive are fueled by rage and thirst for justice.
Anyone who deals in powder kegs is especially scrutinized, Cray demands copies of customer lists, shipping manifests and invoices.
Cray also asks a lot of questions regarding the theft of Duke Andrey's business documents, and seems suspicious of validity of the theft.
Cray has even abandoned his potion business, and instead begins to offer up his many powerful and rare potions as rewards for information on the attack, the PFLN, and traitors of Oscura in general._
