Rumors heard throughout Oscura.

  • The Halfling Defence League

Luke strolls up to the table containing Sash at the Coppers, smiling lopsidedly as he addresses him.

"I can not only tell ya where ta find'im, I can bring'im to ya, friend."

  • Finally a longboat sets off from the ship, with a few crew aboard, rough looking and all armed. The only one that does not look rough stands in the center of the boat as the others row, and steps off on to the dock immediately upon the side touching the planks. Leaving the men to row back to the ship he sets off for the first tavern, and lays down a few coins with no expression.

I am looking for a Sterr, or an Ashire. Anyone who wants to share where I can find them, will receive coin for the information, no trouble. You can even tell them Sash is asking for them.

The man hits up every tavern and a few of the merchants, leaving coin and his message before settling in to the Coppers with an ale, waiting.

  • The inquisitor observes the ship from the shadows, curious as to its intent. Watching, and waiting.

  • An oddly rigged ship pulls in to the docks recently, the crew has done little but pay the proper docking fees, and has not allowed its crew leave yet. Its flying colors of a red banner with crossed cutlasses on it.

  • Cray overheard about the stranger dwarf and went looking for him. When found, Cray introduces himself speaking fluent dwarven.

Hello sir Dwarf. I hear you may be looking for an Official of the city to speak with on important matters. I'm Peacekeeper Cray, a longtime and loyal servant of the Tribunal.

He seems eager to listen. His face shows sincerity and concern.

  • An armored dwarf is seen walking into the city, looking for a city official to speak with.
He refuses to tell what his business are, unless speaking to an authority.
All he says is that this is something impotant to this city. His tone is serious.

  • _Piracy seems on the increase in the Icelace. According to rumours, Oscuran trade ships are being hit, and being hit hard. Meanwhile, Peltarch-bound ships are completely untouched.

Some in Oscura are said to be blaming Peltarch, others believe Umberlee is displeased and now demand more offerings from passers by in the Oscuran docks._

  • ICC

A pale skinned, bald-headed gnome has been seen about. He is impecibly dressed in bright pinks and purples. His long mustache is perfectly groomed. He's been coming and going from the library

  • As Mystic sits by the fire she over hears some drunken brutes talking about this Komnenos family and its equlas to wealth. She empties her mulled wine glass and heads to the library to learn more about this most fortunate family.

  • Cray and Storn have been touring Oscura often of late, with a slow meandering walk, and occasional bickering in odd-couple fashion.

Cray with blueprints and a clipboard in hand, and Storn with a dark Ale bottle in his grasp.

The story goes, that these best of friends are looking at Oscuran real-estate. And plan on opening a smoke shop or buying an existing business within the city.

  • Alucard and Quelcoth enter Oscura via the westgate after being away several days covered in blood yet carrying a few bags of items, seems like they have been on the slaughter again

  • Rumour has it that the Komnenos family opened their ancient vault recently.

The Komnenos vault is of some regard, being a huge hoard of wealth apparently blessed by Waukeen, apparently Herakleitos is looking at quite a large investment, since the vault is almost never opened.

  • A certain black clad half elf is seen around Oscura, passing word to the bartenders and shopkeeps between normal chatter, mentioning that Aramuil may be willing to talk to Men'ar on neutral ground. After this she drops off letters at the temple, buys a sakura blossom, and departs the depths.

  • Those that often visit the library will notice Devora spending a lot of hours there busy with some research, she will not share with anyone what she's up to, but rumors are she might be trying to summon something, as to what could that be? there's crazy ideas all around…

  • The tribunal Ashire seems to be more amiable around the famous dirge Aune of late. Several sightings of business discussions have been seen around the city that haven't broken into viscious verbal sparring.

  • The Dirge Aune has been seen walking Oscura's halls more often once again, Her demeanor having changed somewhat. She now seems to take more pride in her appearance though the same almost blissful expression is plastered across her face as she plays mournful laments on her fiddle.

Though she has been seen seen more often in the communal faith's hall of the temple often.

  • Light laughter and fast talking comes from a young looking elf with dark hair as she argues, discusses, bargains and finally purchases a rothe. Happily leading it out of the city by rope, anyone who heard her haggling can assure she paid FAR too much for it. Not that she seemed to care from her almost devious smile on her way out.

  • A group of Oscura's finest, together with a wide variety of Norwick yokals, recently gathered at the Coppers. Joined by Black Sails Captain Sabre Seesaw and an unknown hin referred to alternately as 'Armless' and 'Armful', the group set off into the dark, speaking of treasure, 'lizard chickens, 'magic dogs' and 'glowshits'. Slightly the worse for wear, all ten adventurers returned to the Coppers a day or so later, heavy pouches of gold awarded to each by Cap'n Seesaw.

  • @1f4cf68b4c=Fadia:

While many of the Lockes have indeed been shut in, Sigismund Locke has been seen with his "personal assistant" in tow having a grand old time in Oscura's inns, and even venturing as far north as Peltarch for a drink or two every now and again!

He seems…curiously unconcerned about whatever strangeness is going on.

Amunet locke is also seen about Oscura lately, her own short bodyguard occasionally around her, protecting her every move. It seems that earlier she was seen disembarking a boat from the docks district, her trunks being carried by several men. Still scantily clad as usual and still just as alluring in her speech, manner and movmenent. It seems that something is on her mind and whatever it is it pleases her greatly.
