As a young dwarf he dreamed of the mithril mines under his home as his parents would share the grand tales with him. As he grew he began to take on his apprenticeships with his father learning the family trade of a miner and guardian of the mines. At 35 he finally was announced experienced enough to go with one of the higher mining groups and they set out down deep into the tunnels allowing the twisting to relax them a slight bit, as they traveled down the tunnels they came to a split in the tunnels, spotting something that looked like mithril he raced down the opposite of the group causing them to separate, his theory was proven correct a moment later as he set to cutting out a piece to show the others, moments later his work was cut short by the sound of metal on metal and much yelling. He raced back to the split and only barely managed to stop and duck out of sight in time to see the last member of his party drop to the stone dead. Orcs had laid a trap in one of there most common tunnels and had killed the whole party. He spotted one barking orders and realized him as the leader, making a memory of the large scar on his face and the strong intelligence shown in his behavior and planning he waited till they left and set to work burying his kin. Then vowing revenge he set out to kill them all, one by one. Swearing never to stop till the leader was dead…he traveled long and hard tracking the orc as he set across the realms continuing his slaughter of dwarves . At each stop his anger grew as he buried more of his kin. Eventually he came to a small port and knew without crossing the seas he would never reach the orcs. He took all the silver left in his coin purse and paid his way onto a ship destined for Peltarch, an unknown land but it was said that a band of orcs following one with a large scar on its face was headed that way and now so was he....
