Whispers at the Fire
-
People heading down the south gate are warned by a somewhat grumpy looking dwarf standing on the watch tower that several goblins armies have been sighted and dealt with in the woods. Even the whimpy goblins to the west gathered for what the dwarf calls "Tha shortest offensive in hist'ry"
-
Two young priestess' are seen walking into Norwick one evening, glowing green, one seeming less than amused at the state.
-
Word goes around about a disagreement in the Union Hall, a rather loud one. Later, talk is that Val has left the Union, for reasons undisclosed.
-
Rumor spreads that some people is thinking organizing a side-fight night in the silver valley, wether this is true or just speculation, only time will tell
-
:: And it seems the Norwick's wannabe hero_e_ is back, after the harvesting season.
He can be seem at the archery targets training for the Fight Nights, with or without a crazy old bleeding senseless militia man running it::
-
_::More rumours speak of the Fight Night being ruined once again before it ended as Locrian hosted it. The details and versions are diferent, but the facts are that the High Priestess Rith Phoenixfeather was sent to jail by the sole decission of said Locrian.
It appears then several others willingly walked into jail themselves, disgusted by that tyrannic decission and spent the night with her. Amongst other things that resulted in the archery contest being halted early due to lack of participants, and the rest of the Fight Night lacking in general.
It appears that a day after the Lathanderite Priestess drew steel on Locrian near the temple of Lathander, beating him senseless before he could even scratch her. Apparently there were plenty of witnesses, but the old militiaman didn't put any charges on Rith for it. What's with Norwick and Fight Nights lately?::_
-
Why was that red haired man carrying down bloodied sheets in the Grapevine during Fight Night?…. Did someone have a baby?... Too much blood.... Murder?....Why were some women checking in just fine... but coming back out sad and misty eyed?.... And.... why wasn't that red haired girl naked at the Fight Night brawl?.... Did she ever leave the inn?...
-
And the gnone is seem outside the gate planing a way to make an arrow pointing in, just incase something miss the gate.
-
And, at one night, the word HARPY, is writen with bolts just south of the gates.
It's said to be a work of art and a gift for a friend!

_The trial of the infamous Ronan was held at City Hall one day. Many were in attendance, including other senators of Peltarch, various adventurers, Norwick officials and even a banite or two.
The senator pled guilty to the crime and was fined for his actions. He was also asked to defend Norwick against threats as part of his punishment, though he stated he'd gladly do so without it needing to be some punishment.
A few faces seem dissapointed by the outcome, namely a few of Ronan's colleagues in the senate. Most, however, were delighted by the result, or did not really hold an opinion.. mostly just wishing to see what would happen._
All in all, however… the trial was simple and held little to no drama.

Rumor has it that an ex-Chancellor has been testing the gallows behind the Great Hall with a sand-bag dummy that is wearing a white mop as a wig.

*Upon hearing the rumors of the Oscuran slavers and what ronan is said to have done, Kiana wonders how known slavers even managed to get into norwick past there guards, as there presence is not tolerated within norwick even. After the moment of wondering, she waves it off as just that, a rumor."
-
_Rumor has it that Ronan will face trial in a few days for murdering seven Oscuran slavers and their dog within the walls of Norwick, just to watch them die.
According to Gemli, he heard from his barber that Ronan stepped out from behind a tree, shouted that Peltarch would bring justice, and then cast 'flaming death arrows' into each of the Oscurans, causing their horrible deaths. The dog, a cocker spaniel named Scraps, attempted to flee, but was Phantasmal Killer'd.
Some say that Oscura will declare war on Peltarch within a few days for the incident._

Were Aramuil's "famous murder blades" really used against the town militia? By a skull-helmed woman skulking about in town, half-invisible? Did one of the militia's "four bosses" really step in to protect her as two green-cloaks muscled her around the fire? Why did the pink armored man get to threaten a guardsman without the merest mention of jail time? And what was that about drow? Sometimes it's truly better to leave town with the fight night crowd.

_A large hobgoblin horde had gathered on the path to the old graveyard, which sent a small group to test the defenses at the gates. When a group destroyed and tracked them to the main horde, they were in return quickly driven off the hobs' overwhelming numbers. Retreating to the gates, Hammerhand began barricading the gate with barrels, crates, benches and anything he could find, as well as piles of sand and dirt – an effort in which he was soon joined by others. As night came the majority of those there agreed that holding the strongpoint in preparation for the horde's attack was the most sound idea, despite the continues taunts and rants of one particular hin bard who claimed to be a great giant slayer and thought it an excellent idea to charge into the black of night, into an area occupied by a foe with superior numbers and strength, leaving Norwick compeltely exposed to the horde's attack. As the horde did little more than send a group of warriors and then an umberhulk to attack -- both attacks easily defeated due to getting stuck on the barricades -- some of the novice adventurers gathered seem to become impatient and more inclined to follow the mad hin in his doomed dash. However, by the time they had mustered sufficient courage to actually do so, dawn had come and the horde had retreated.
In the aftermath, there was apparantly a scuffle between Hammer, said hin and a novice adventurer._

@d07d0f2ffc=Oddba11:
Rumor has it the Senator Ronan of Peltarch assaulted a man in Norwick, fully intending to murder him as he sat quietly at the fire, unarmed and unarmored. Sparks flew as the mage cast everything he had at the poor man, then, as quickly as the mage came, he fled.
@d07d0f2ffc=SummonerX:
Rumor would also state that the "innocent" man that the named Senator attacked was heard bragging of harvesting souls and murdering Hoarrans. This would be said senator's typical reaction to such blatant evil.
_::Rumous and rumours would fly about this event. Apparently the High Priestess Rith Phoenixfeather was present when all of this happened, and she didn't see anything but a cordial exchange between people that like making big claims. Both dueled unarmed and unarmored, and Ronan simply proved to be better, and left peacefully after subduing his rival in a sport-like duel, much like it happens in any Fight Night.
Besides, everyone seemed happy to see the self-proclaimed soul-harvester and hoaran murderer bite the dust::_
-
Rumor has it that the elf, Faelar, was seen on the archers' tower with the half-elf druidess Tamara and the couple were holding hands. When seen, Faelar seems to have a little more spring in his step and a broader smile upon his face.
