Journel of a Dawnbringer

  • Entry 1 - A week away from Narfell

_Times are hard in a far land, I heard tales of Shadow creatures, the Shadovar in the far north, a place called Narfell, a land of barbarian tribes, where the horsemen ride with bow and arrow to great skill.

The Dawnlord back in Amm has sent me to aid so i am currently sat on a boat to this far land, aiming for a city known as Peltarch.

I do worry a little, my training is incomplete yet I must persevere and spread the Morninglords light to this land where i can.

Such creatures of Shadow must not be allowed to endure.

May the Dawn light my path and show me the way._

  • Entry 3

_Well, much has happened in the last week.

This land is plagued by so many ills. Undead, Bugbears and even bandits in the pass, yet Lady Rith says that they are just under the commands of a foul man.

I am unsure of what i think of this, they still commit attacks on travellers.

Yet not all is bad here, many people here are kind and pleasant, yet i am finding myself with a man named Micah alot, a fine warrior. One who works well with I, and fighting the undead. Lady Rith as well, she has taught me much.

People in these parts do not seem to like politeness or being dressed formally. Yet it used to be a barbaric land, perhaps it has rubbed off on them._

  • Entry 2

_My trip here, the intention is invalid. The Shadovar have been driven out months ago, yet i guess news does not travel as fast as it is rumoured. Yet a glorious thing it is, the creatures of darkness have been sent back whence they came.

This land is not what I expected it to be either, none of the wild Narsmen I had heard about, a civilised place it seems. But the Morninglord has sent me here so here is where I shall reside. I have heard of many threats to this land still so i shall spread the Morninglords light here, Shadovar or not.

Many undead roam this valley, I vampire named Frederic i have already had the misfortune to meet, my power was not enough to defeat him either. I must train harder and strike him down.

A temple to Lathander stands in the town known as Norwick, this is where i shall reside. The high priest Janick seems a good man, and i hear tales of a powerful priestess named Rith, I should seek her out and see what this land requires of me. Much seems needed to be done, at the least, I will raise gold for the temple here and fight whatever darkness arises.

I have my sword, my Lords power, now all I need is the greatest non-divine weapon imaginable, Knowledge of these lands._
