Whispers at the Fire

  • Arlan finds this absolutely hilarious

  • *THere was laughter everywhere as poor Loc was sleeping in front of the gate. A certain vandal who has not come forth had used charcoal and facepaint to make him look rather.. different!

  • Ael'Que raises the reward to 1000gold for information that leads to the recovery of Maria

  • Tindra, the elven one that is, is found to be searching for books about various things elven, most especially history and religon.

  • Ael'Que is letting all know he is offering a 100gp reward to anyone who can tell him the last known location or last person to see the missing mage Maria.

  • ::Some ill gossip speaks of having spotted the Dawnbringer Rith Phoenixfeather rushing into Norwick from the Rawlinswoods. She didn't respond to any greetings and appeared heavily burdened by something::

  • Kabul is seem entering the Spellweaver Keep.
Anyone in there can listen him asking for general information about Medusas. Specially what does it feed on and how to fight them.

  • Kabul, the aprentice scout of the miitia, heads to the place and tries to figure out what killed the man and if there are any tracks of the agressors to be followed.

  • Farmers stumbled upon the body of an unknown man while tending to their fields. The body appears to be quite fresh and bares many strange markings and incisions.

  • Word around the fires of Norwick is that Kabul, the aprentice scout of the Militia is back to his business.

As always, he remains quiet to himself mostly unnoticed. From time to time, he heads towards the south returning with nothing to sell or say.

Where and what he spent the last two years is everyone's guess.
The fact is: he's back, and may be watching you.

  • Rumour has it a battered and burnt dark-skinned man was seen staggering out of the Rawlins. He was never seen entering Norwick, but a few days later, he was seen in the inn. Apparently his room smells of charred flesh.

  • ::After some ruckus about failed bureucracy between Norwick and Peltarch, finally the scout known as Liisa was escorted to Peltarch by a force consisting on half dozen of Peltarch Defenders, a high rank Cerulean Star, Staff Sergeant Aelthas, Senator Redralen, Militiaman Bran and the Norwickian Scout Thorn. She was taken gagged, blindfolded and tied up. Whatever are the reasons for the extreme level of security around what seems to be a simple scout is anybody's guess::

  • ::The cryptic scout, Liisa, has been seen escorted to the Norwick dungeons after willingly turning herself in for trial. The details are vague, but if anyone asked all she says is that she has nothing to say untill she is under a truth spell and the fair judgement of the gods. Then, she will say everything she knows, for better or for worse. Everything::

  • People around the fire can hear tales of both Rith and later on Mooncandy and a few companion seperate occasions killing with literally hundreds of goblins south of old norwick.

  • A new elf has recently wandered into Norwick, along side Thorn and Fadia. The brunette elfmaiden bears some resemblance to the well-known werecat who lives nearby. She even rolls her R's and did her friends just call her "Tindra?" Did Tindra suddenly become an elf?

Wait… Isn't that our familiar blonde half-elf Tindra over there?

  • Word from the jail says that one of the cells didn't look so clean when it was new, and the prisoner responsible is asking to be moved to another cell so he can start there. He also requests some lemons, a mop, fresh water, and a wire brush that he might get to work on the rust spots.

  • The so-called Paladin's at it again. This time he's done got himself locked up in the jail for assaulting a militiaman.

  • Some say….

That the much despised Ael'Que RaHael was caught skulking about in a northern Norwick house by the owners and was locked in! After the guard was called one irritated Captain released the imprisoned Ael'Que and gave him a stern warning!

Others say it was just badger-trickery at work.

  • The innermost gates of Norwick destroyed, scorch marks and a bloody stain mark the ground. Yngdír, who watches over the south regularly is tight lipped. He seems to be washing his shield often, as a compulsion of late however.

  • It was said that at the most recent full moon the dancer, Dondiah, had returned from a ten day absence and walked up the path to the waterfall by the grapevine until she was out of sight. Soon, singing was heard at the top along with a swishing sound, as if a blade were being swung through the air.
