Arranged Meeting - Hoarran Group and Jonathan

Rico is clearly worried by the conflicting tactics and speaks hoping to expedite an action before galloping off astride Scarlet…straight through Marty's smoke cloud._

Meanwhile, Hammer is moving along the edges of the battle to the north of the meeting grounds, just south of the shrine, collecting those wounded from both sides who are no longer capable of fighting and dragging them to the relative safety of the shrine. There, they are quickly treated for the worst of their injuries, but not enough to allow them to rejoin the fight. After a few moments, there are soldiers in the livery of different units of Defenders lying in the shrine.
Edited to remove the fallen Hoarrans, none have been that far north yet to fall.

Ronan and Marty are both issued direct orders to accompany the scouts north, if they fail to do so, like with Senator Thel, the scouts remain with them and do not forcibly drag them off, though they do indeed forcibly prevent Marty from going south if force is needed.

What a surprise… both sides blaming the other.
Ronan mutters, and then looks annoyed when he is urged to return to the city.
I'm not a child, I can take care of myself. I want to see what the fuss is.

//okay. But Marty will be retreating south to the tower to help provide safe passage for Jonathan rather than fleeing north. Just for the record, Marty has never trusted the Defenders, and will not let any of them touch her.

_A group of Troff Legion Archers led by General Theaon Thorn come out from the Legion Tower grounds to give covering fire to any who are retreating south.
"We'll cover the escape. Keep moving south!"
He then summons an earth elemental to smash any nearby hostiles._

_Being the nosey rosey knight that he is, Rico Swift rushes to the sounds of battle astride a sudden white armored warhorse. As this was a legitimate meeting between two states, he'll defend anyone, Peltarch and Hoaran alike from an attacker, using his grace to turn aside blows and his white steed's alacrity to swiftly cross the field (and Marty's blade barrier). A radiant crimson silk cape glows with warm light, and hopefully succeeds in drawing arrows and missiles his way and not to the various state officials.
He shouts over fervor. "Any who would see your meet not in vain, rally with me! Protect your life and the life of those next to you and cover the retreat!"
Then, low and to only himself, "Milady, guide my hand. I cannot allow another war."_
//For the purposes of organization, Rico is moving near enough to Marty to be within one double move action (quadruple move action effectively as he's mounted), trying to stay mobile and draw attention towards himself like the great big bullseye he is, giving everyone time to withdraw.

_While moving back from the point he last saw thomas, Raúl searches for traps that might've been placed around to catch the retreating hoarans and disables them if possible.
Note that at any moment he'd see a Hoaran being attacked, he will stabb the attacker, trying to not to kill if the situation allows for such._

Senator Marty, who had made no movements north, back away from the advancing intruders to help defend Jonathan and his escort.
Jonathan, I swear by all the gods I have no idea what this is all about. But I promise you this, this meeting isn't over.
Marty snatches a scroll form between her breasts and chants a pretty random sounding incantation upon it*. Immediately a barrier of blades springs up between Jonathan's party and the advancing threat.*
We've got to get through their line, through to the Tower. Come on!
Marty and her panther join the line of guards defending Jonathan.

The three guards beside Jonathan draw sword finally, holding firm as the scouts that were along the hillsides set arrows into the charging men, and one by one the mages spaced along the back line start flickering into view as magic missiles fly out glowing from their hands. Jonathan and his immediate guards start shifting south towards the main lines, backpedaling without running, spear already held ready in both hands as he watches the running men.
You shout betrayal?! You who are fleeing while your assassins try again?!
The first of the men charging from the east reach Jonathan, who is obviously well practiced with his spear, fighting defensively, and still moving back, the three guards using shields more then anything, and drawing close quarters to Jonathan, the infantry in the main line starting to shift north, though not breaking into a trot yet, as ranks close the scouts begin pulling in from the sides.

_As certain Senators are rushed north, including Hardin by his bodyguards and Far Scouts alike, a horn is heard echoing to the north, answered by one to the east a few seconds later.
Several long moments later, the Senators fleeing hear the cries of a few dozen men as they burst forth from the trees to the east, just south of the Shrine near the path leading to the Legion tower, heading straight for them at a full charge. Some of the men appear to be dressed in Peltarch Far Scout uniforms, others in brown leathers to blend in better amongst the trees. Although they seem to be a threat to the Senators fleeing and their bodyguards on the road at first, they instead flank suddenly down to the south slightly and along the hill top, heading at Jonathon and his remaining Hoarran troops, leaving the Senators a gap to flee still to the north.
Off to the north, battle still rages, though the sounds of steel on steel seem lessened and replaced instead with the sounds of crying men and women wounded in the fighting there.
It doesn't take long before the new unit appearing from the east is close to the group still stationed at the meeting area, swords drawn, eyes all set on Jonathon and his men.._

Raúl tries to sneak south, after seing Thomas being told to leave. And tries to stalk him to see what's going on, at no point but if his life is threatened directly will he attack, or if Thomas is being attacked by someone, even if it's a Defender, Raúl will stabb the attacker anyways.

The two scouts assigned to Mariston give him a direct order to withdraw with them, and if fails to comply again, they are forced to stay with him instead, but make no attempt to get the Senator to forcibly comply.

The Hoarrans hold their lines, just three of the heavier armed moving up to Jonathan's side as he just starts laughing, Vaxin still nowhere to be seen, and Thomas now half crouched and low having pulled knives from somewhere. Thomas touches Jonathan's shoulder and says a few soft words, which get his laughter to stop, and Thomas' hand knocked away by a quick spin of his spear before he stands looking north a dark look upon his face.

Go. He looks at Thomas, before repeating himself. Go! Thomas flees south, and Jonathan raises his voice to shout to those Senators now being hustled off.
Run then! Peltarch can't even be trusted to a simple peaceful meeting!

The Far Scouts insist in any instances where Senators are reluctant to leave, having orders to evacuate all Senators at any sign of trouble.
