Whispers at the Fire

  • The Paladin Cedric was last seen conversing with Vladimir, Quelcoth and a number of others. After declining an invitation to tea Cedric … walks off with them anyway.

    Hasn't been seen since.

  • A fair haired newcomer has been moving through town. His polished, sunny plate armour and matching disposition make him stand out in the rural town. If he’s not a paladin he sure does dress like one with a blazing sun embroider onto his sunny cape. He speaks of the Shadovar as if he has good knowledge of their intentions, and seeks an audience with the towns leaders, delivering a letter to the head of the towns militia though one if its recruits.

((Sorry that this is horribly late. I had a lot of trouble getting forum access))

  • A day or so later, Lycka can be seen marching through Norwick with long, determined steps. She asks for Biswan, settling down to wait for a moment of the Chancellors time.

  • Elidor? The annoying guy?

Rico looks forward to laying some smack down, then feels bad about feeling good about it, but decides he's gonna do it anyway. It takes him about three minutes to figure this out.

  • _Traitor is the word of the day it seems.
After a goblin/hobgoblin/undead attack, there was a disturbance between Hammer and Elidor at the fire that seemed to draw in more and more people, and seemed to involve Elidor holding back information regarding the Shadovar, which caused Hammer a great degree of frustration for some reason.

Not long after the two and a few others went to the militia barracks alongside a few militiamen did it become clear why. Elidor is, or so word is spread has been working for the Shadovar all this time, willing or unwilling, and is gathering information to give it to them, or destroy them.
When the militia tried to search him, Elidor had turned invisible and ran.

Seriously, what more proof would you need?! He's a dirty, traitorous git elf who likes seeing good Norwickan people and militia killed by the Shadovar. Burn him!_

  • Hess the Woodsman, whose beard is now hanging off his chin much like an frozen amber waterfall, can be seen often at the south gate of Norwick, smiling and offering to help anyone that needs a guide in the Rawlins.

Peculiar to many is his friends, he has been tying small branches of mistletoe to the outside walls of Norwick, the gates (when they are there) and even to himself… such that his beard has become an odd array of green growth, red berries and curly amber hair.

He's also been seen in the near woods of Norwick, typically where wild fruit trees grow, cultivating the mistletoe and apparently encouraging birds to propagate the parasitic plant to other "home trees."

  • @14ba2243f6:

*A strange shape is seen moving around the forest, it appears human, yet looks very matted and wild.

Howls are heard throughout the forest.*

As Thorin sits by the fire at the new south gate and hears the howls, just glances up to the nightsky thoughtfully and then resume doing his things.

  • _A large group of experienced adventurers set out south from Norwick one evening. When they return there's not only a pile of loot with them, but talk about how they heroically defeated a second dracolich, another lich - a particularly short battle, it seems - and the greatest challenge of the raid.. a might Balor. Add to that hordes of undead, many of which reminded some of 'those in the Lost City'. And the raid was apparantly lead or at least organised by Hammerhand.

Amazingly, every single person that set out returned in good health._

  • Tonight at the Grapevine, everyone gets to hear about how that red paladin who's always nosing around and butting in had to be rescued by Timmot.

  • Legion

An elven wizard with in a lavender blue robe boasts of how he battled wits with the most cunning of cunning goblins and won.

  • One of Spellweaver's novices.. a wizard with little real skill to speak of in the feild of the arcane, is seen wandering out of the tower's library with every text he can find that even mentions 'Gond' leaving a note behind detailing his need for research material… he's allso seen leaving his entire arcane collection of texts behind, asking the library to hand them to someone who can use them.

  • Ael'Que is seen spending large amounts of his down time researching in the library at Spellweaver and the Legion tower. He does not request help often , when he does he mentions The Whispering Wall.

  • A lone rider enters the gates of norwick, his armor and shield a shining beacon of light, he says little but greets the villagers with a calm smile, he rides toward the Shrine of Lathander where he dismounts and enters. After a few hours the man rides into the Rawlins, seeking out the ever present shadows which have been springing up throughout the woods. He returns to the Temple each day at dawn, then once again sets out to carry out whatever task he has been given.

  • Elva notices the Badger and runs away frantically, She then quickly warns everyone about "spies"

  • Late in the night two weary and trail worn travellers enter Norwick's north gates. Dropping their cloak hoods, what at first appears to be a human and a halfling reveal themselves to instead be a human child and a woman appearing to be in her late twenties. Heading straight to the Grapevine, the young woman leaves what appears to be a badger outside with an apple with a softly chiding voice. Inside the cloaks are removed, revealing the woman unarmed, but the boy oddly with two long knives on his belt. Speaking to the innkeeper to rent a room, when asked for names the only reply heard is…

    Jenni and Jonni

  • @bed573bfc3=rei_jin:

Word goes around about some kind of super horse knocking out foul bandits with a single kick, and the terror inspired simply by the sight of its red dressed owner arriving on the scene.

Rico Swift turns to his noble steed and asks "How drunk was I last night? I don't remember any of this."

  • Rumor spread that some adventurer was found dead in a cave near the lake, where some mummies had woke up from their rest. this mummies seem to come from the ceilin, where their coffens were stuck until someone kegged the cave and was a cave in

  • _Late one night in Norwick, all is quiet when a horse is led into town, with a pair of bandits bound and gagged on its back. Two very, very unconscious bandits.

Word goes around about some kind of super horse knocking out foul bandits with a single kick, and the terror inspired simply by the sight of its red dressed owner arriving on the scene.

Val, for her part, just giggles and shakes her head._
