    Sgruud, also known as Frank Burrows was born in Dalelands, being offspring of farmer's wife and invading orcish warrior. Even though born from violence, he was taken care and loved by his mother on his early years. His human "father" however, was never fond of him and tolerated him only due to demands of his wife. However, when Sgruud was five years old, his beloved mother died and he was left alone with his father. His father didn't hide the disgust towards Sgruud, but let him live with the pigs as he was useful workforce for the farm.

    In the age of seven, he started to prove gaining much bigger strength than humans usually do. In that point, his father started to be bit afraid of him. The thoughts of this "monster" growing bigger and stronger, and then raising against him, haunted the mind of his father. He did not however have heart to take life of his bastard son himself, but instead tied him and took him into woods where he was left alone.

    After struggling and wandering days in woods, with no food and his hands tied, Sgruud found his way to the small cave, in of which he was planning to go to keep the rain. But the fortune stepped into game once again.
    The cave was inhabited by local orc tribe, which took the half-blooded in. Not as a member, but as a servant. And brutal were the ways of which Sgruud was handled in the tribe. Sgruud served obedient, as he knew his skills of survival would not be high enough for him to escape.

    In the age of thirteen, his luck had a turning point, in the form of extraordinary visitor. An elf came to visit the tribe. This elf, seemingly merchant of some sort, was taken to the tribe chieftain without any hostility. Apparently the elven trader had some dark business with the chieftain, which ended up into tight bargain where also the ownership of Sgruud was traded to the elf.

    It happened to be so that the elf was thief and conman of the worst sort. By having Sgruud as his assistant, he lived luxurous life traveling around and selling empty promises. From him, his only real father, Sgruud learned the most important lessons: All that matters is yourself, never trust anyone and never reveal your true self. Well, the elf got revealed after all, ending up to being executed. Sgruud was never suspected to be his partner though, and he was ready to run.

    He grabbed his axe and armor, and headed into woods. Into lands where he would not be known at all. With only those and goal to ensure the old age swimming in the pool of gold coins.
