@220e37ed1d=rei_jin:
_Rumour goes around the town about a duel to the death between a woman in green, and a woman in red, silver, and black.
The woman in green lost, and her body was carried off to the woods._
Benji comments.
Colors? I don't give a <g>shite</g> about what Gondamn color they were wearing! Who where they?

::In the past days the rumours spread about one band of several Ostromog's best trained bugbears having been in apparent peace sitting by the South Gates, within Norwick's walls. This apparent peace was cut short upon being spotted by the Dawnbringer Rith Phoenixfeather, who assaulted them in full force, no words meddling, and destroyed them at the cry:
You can't fool us anymore, vile creatures. This is all the parley you'll get.
The Lathanderite might have been overheard commenting later how these bugbears have been spotted several times trading Mithral with duergars, and are just preparing to wage war against Norwick. As per Rith's words, this bugbear siege might be imminent as she comments:
The way I see it, that was 10 bugbears less we'll have to deal with when they have obtained enough mithral equipment from the duergar and proceed to attack in full force.
_Depends on who one might hear the story from, there will be emphasis on making the Lathanderite look as a dangerous zealot, or as a loyal defender of the realm of Norwick. There are hardly any neutral opinions.
Whichever the version, both coincide in that Urgle presented himself shortly afterwards in company of more strong bugbears attacking Norwick's South Gates, just as he has been doing for the last few months.
Once again the versions are encountered, one assuring that the Lathanderite brought that subsequent attack upon Norwick with her foolishness, the other noting that as expected, Urgle was behind it all and the only good bugbear is a dead bugbear. Or even better, a wounded bugbear that leads you to more bugbears::_

_Any passing the Northern Watchtower recently, may have heard an interesting commotion.
Sounds of yelling, and the definite sounds of objects being broken; with the dull thudding of many impacts being heard.
Uliuk>THAT SON OF A B** HE SLEEPS WITH ME AND TELLS ME LIES, BUT HE CAN TELL THAT LOWLANDER SKEEZ??!!!!**
The thick language floats out of the tower for hours, before finally a flushed tired looking Saria wanders back into town._

Recently, Jenavee Starbrow has been seen around town hanging up small notes. When read, they reveal she's looking to trade her magical mace //+1 enhancement// for a crossbow of similar quality.

((I split the MOB missing family post off to this thread : http://www.narfell.us/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=48821&highlight= to give it a life of its own))

A distinguished silver-haired male elf dressed in purple and red under his black cloak, came to town.
He and Eluriel visited first the dwarven hold, then the crafter's union hall.
-
It might have been noted by some that, since a little while after his arrival in Narfell, an Elf named Havon has been spending a lot of time sitting under a particular, but ordinary tree in the druid grove near Norwick. During this time he often takes off his usual armour to reveal another outfit of gold and black. Why he goes there is not apparent, only that he does very regularly.
-
Bellowing can be heard coming from the Crafters Hall. Someone is not very happy. :pissed:
-
Rain can be seen walking around town with Militia recruit Hannibal posting up wanted posters and questioning locals on the whereabouts of a criminal gnome named Ludo
-
Rico Swift, heavily intoxicated at the time, vanished from the fireside and reappeared in a flash of red light in the same spot some short time later, yelling at the not-present wizard Izakiel.
-
_Apparently the undead former Herald Fendon came to Norwick in broad daylight, attempting to kill Chancellor Biswan. He slew Timmot and another guard when they tried to bar his way, but was stopped by the swift action of Davos, Stubs, Rhyndar, Dietrick, and others.
A punitive expedition dispatched to the tombs stumbled back to town some time later, extremely battered but alive._

Kabul is seem at the entrance of the Hall, looking for master Z.
-
Word spreads trough Norwick, and likely into the dwarven hold, that Hammerhand has over 30 pounds of unrefined gold to sell, to the highest bidder.
-
Word has it that Diadne of Kossuth is seeking to speak to a priest of good nature regarding some artifact that came into her possession.
-
_*Fadia Nailo, the purple-haired druid elder, has recently been seen to make very frequent visits to Norwick's farmlands. The sole purpose of these visits seems to be the offering blessings to the crops of any farmers who will accept them. All she asks in return are prayers of thanks to Mielikki.
What brought on this sudden bout of druidic good will, none can say.*_
-
Saria lets word spread around Norwick that she has some Armour for the 'Pretty Man' if he still needs some.
-
Clay has been absent from the gates more often than not lately… never seeming to be around. Nobody sees him around the town, or even much in the forest unless they stumble along the campsite he and Dondiah share. However, when he is seen, he always seems to be less than a stone's throw away from the petite, blonde elfie. If asked where he's been recently, he gives a simple answer:
"Don't worry about it."
-
The Rose Knight walks back into Norwick, befert of the holy armor, shield, and gloves he's come to be seen in. He looks sad, and somber, but smiles and ensures anyone who asks that it's all for the best.
He does ask if a skilled smith can loan him a tower shield and set of platemail for a short time.
-
Dwin Dolvak is said to be looking for an "established wiggler" who can enchant a pair of boots for him.
Any such wiggler should contact him ((PM)) at the Crafting Hall or the Dwarven Hold.
Apparently he will pay a handsome fee to anyone that can help him.
