Tavern Rumors of Peltarch

The town has recently noticed a new half-orc who calls himself Grunk. He was often seen playing with the sundial in the commons and others can tell he is oddly drawn to it. He wanders around Peltarch in a cloak and light armor seemingly pieced together from different sets with a greatsword strapped inventively across his back. Following his arrival came another half-orc often clad in heavy armor. However, recently the two have seemed to disappear. This happened shortly after they were seen arguing in orcish with a halfling and a third halfer.

_Rumor is spread by Senator Ronan Redralen, that a group of individuals wearing black and red armor, claiming to be "demon hunters," should be approached cautiously. It is said that citizens should avoid or ignore these individuals and continue on their way. Adventurers are encouraged to use methods such as true seeing or a paladin's senses for such individuals.
Further questions should be directed toward senator Ronan, Aelthas of the Defenders, or guardswoman Yana._

Word slowly starts to spread that the peacefulness of yesterday afternoon was shattered by a shouting match turned fist fight just outside the west gate. While some say the hostilities started near the bazaar, the two men walked calmly outside city limits where the prodding continued and the fist throwing began. While no one seems to know what the confrontation was about, the victor was clear as the tiny one strolled back into town, and the halfer scampered away spitting curses and clutching at his awkwardly bent arm.

Rumors of a surface trip by two Oscuran Nobles to the "Jewel" Spread throughout the various social circles of Peltarch. It is said that the young couple entered the bath house for quite some time before enjoying a meal together at the Dancing Mermaid Inn

Oscuran Noble, and Priest of Siamorphe Ferdinand Locke has spent much time in the Residential District of Peltarch the last few days, most time is spent mingling with the various Noble families, small talk and sometimes brief mention of Siamorphe, but most are informal and friendly conversations.

An half-Orc with the Iron Chain Clan insignias on his armor, can be seen leaving Peltarch prison, after being held there for a fair ammount of days. This half-orc names gos about by Arak´Hur, the current leader of the Iron Chain Clan. He seems pleased to leave prison

A loud commotion was heard at the west gate as two guards were brutally slain by orcish magic. As the defenders rushed to their post, Sergeant Marie Scuttlestone and Senator Martoushca Leaffal rushed out and gave chase to the orcish mage who had launched the attack. Anyone watching from the tower or hearing the rumor would know that Senator Leaffall was pinned down by archer fire as Marie sprinted after the mage into an ambush. After the melee Senator Leaffall was seen marching sadly through town with a defender escort, Marie’s limp body draped over her shoulder.
…This was followed by a concerted Orcish attack on the west gate. The Orcs first tried ladders, but were unsuccessful and driven back. Later, they came back with a covered battering ram, and forced the gates open.
Several citizens helped defend the gates with the defenders. Several of the defenders fell, and Sergeant Yana of the guard was briefly put in charge of the citizens and a contingent of defenders. Again the Orcs were driven back, decimated in great numbers by archers on the wall and footmen defending the gate.

Two adventurers were seen coming back form the orc lands claiming the head of Elfslayer, slung onto the pack of the human. They both seemed very proud of themselves

Tibido Tyrnannia lingers in taverns of various levels of shadiness (from light gray to darker gray, to be inexact). His conversations always seem to somehow drift towards vampires and cults residing in the sewers. He mentions them here or there, almost as if a slip of the tongue. "Oops, I shouldn't have mentioned that - Might scare the locals," he'll say, for instance.
And then he'll listen to anyone's responses, or assess their reactions visually.

To prove his words he shows a huge spider leg as a proof. He also claims that the nest provided to be quite a source of wealth both in coins and in useful items.

Tibido Tyrnannia slides over to a table that Mepholus the Magnificant sits. He places two large mugs of ale, slips one over to Meph, and eases himself into a free seat opposite of him. He grins friendily, but slyly: "I hear you've got yourself quite the spider trophy, Mister Magnificant. I'd love to hear how you got it." Tibido chats with him to try and figure out where the 'source of wealth' is.
