A changing of the guard on Sam's Hill...

  • Silently, with discipline and reserve reminding some eerily of Jandor's Guard (who appeared in similar circumstances) a company of some 100-odd heavily armored soldiers marches into Norwick through the South Gate, apparently expected by the gate guards.

They take up positions at the North Gate on Sam's Hill. The dwarves and redcloaks who had been stationed there leave for the southern defences.

With speed and few words they hastily set up siege equipment and further fortify the position to repel any attacks.

Those who ask are told they are here at Chancellor Dolvak's invitation to preserve Norwick neutrality in these difficult times, and to free up troops for the southern defences.
