Fight Night!

@3799adf193=Bosso:
Oddball's take on AOE spells and subdual is a bit off. With subdual on your AOE spells can't kill other PCs but they can kill -yourself-.
which happily reminds me when i casted darkness and my panther familiar sneak attacked me for 50 dmg and got me killed =D

Area of Effect spells can kill if they hit someone they aren't targeted on. For instance, say you cast a fireball on, oh, say, Kosef in the Norwick Commons, he will take subdual damage, but everyone around him will take AoE damage, and it -can- kill them. Trust me.
-
That's correct, you won't kill him. The lowest you can get a PC's HP to is 1. NPCs can still kill that PC very easily though so be careful with it.
If you do have a reason for attacking another player with subdual it is always good form to ask them for permission OOC first.
-
Oh, I did not know that… So if I happen to shoot a magic missile on a pc it wont kill him by accident. (not that I usually shoot other people )
-
Do you mean from the normal DnD PnP rules? Or do you mean in NWN? Because all spells are subdual in Narfell against other PCs by default; we usually throw in "no death spells" since, IC, it doesn't make sense that death magic can be subdual at all.
-
One question about spells and fighting without deaths… Is this possible? Atleast i dont know of any spells that deal subdual damage.

I won't be able to run Fight Night this week as I need to go into work early, if anyone is willing to run Fight Night that would be great!
-
Fight Night is Sunday at 9 pm US EST. I'm fine with it Wolfhere, if you want to run Fight Night this week.
-
Kinda off topic….but when exactly are the Fight Nights in Norwick??
Sundays? (eastern U.S.) it used to be Thursdays right? I'm not on the crack or nuthin??
