    Character: Jorma Turskamestari

It is long way from the Marching Mountains of Calimshan to the Narfell, on the borders of the great glacier. It is road filled with unnamed dangers and dusty days, but it is also a road that Jorma Turskamestari took to get closer to the Icelace Lake.

    Childhood
Born as fifth child to the family of Kyllikki and Ylermi Turskamestari, Jorma was greeted with loving home in idyllic environment. Their home lied in small gnomish hamlet, in the middle of the Marching Mountains. The town was relatively isolated and only rarely some wandering trader or adventurer stopped by. Jorma was an adventurous child, and especially fond of all kind of digging. More than once was Jorma stuck on the tight hole on his plays that included imaginatory travels into long forgotten dungeons.

    Youth
During his young age, Jorma developed innate interest towards animals and nature. He could use countless hours traveling into nearby hills, or examining natural caverns that the surrounding mountains were filled with. One of his favorite hobby was to look for underground rivers and go fishing by them. He easily could stay multiple days on row in these adventurous fishing trips, giving worry full nights to his parents waiting for him to arrive home. His character was seemingly forming to be pleasant one, being always helpful and friendly to others, often becoming middlehand in possible arguments between his friends.
It was one of his fishing trips, when his future was strongly changed. He had once again found a new underground river on of which bank he set down to catch a fish when he heard someone approaching in the dark. Quickly he gathered his fishing rod and stepped into shadows, waiting to see who arrives. The one who arrived was dressed in dark brown robe, and seemingly shared the bodily shape and size of a fellow gnome. The other gnome stepped by the river and kneeled down. Jorma stood excited in the shadows, observing what would happen. The kneeled gnome digged a gemstone out of his pocket and started to mutter words in a strange language while moving the gemstone by the surface of the river. In no time, the surface of the river got crowded with heads of the fishes, willing to give them for this mystical fishermen. After careful selection the gnome picked one of them with his bare hands. He took life of the fish with quick move of dagger, after which he digged a small bag out of his pocket. From the bag he took some herbs that he dropped for the fish crowded riversurface, before turned to leave. Haunted by this sight Jorma returned to this same river over the next two weeks until he finally met the mystic fisher again. This time he dared to greet him. They found common ground on their discussion, that turned into friendship, which turned into mentoring. Mentoring to the ways of druid. After years of rigorous training, Jorma was granted a gift from his teacher. The gift was a enchanted giant bass, which at the same time was a mark that he could start journey of his own as he had succeeded in his initial studies and rites to become a druid. When thinking of his directions in great wide world, he decided to take a long trip to find out the greater truth behind the one story that an old fisherman had once told him. A story about herring called Volmari Silli, and for that he needed to travel all the way to the frozen lands of Narfell.

Now, after months of travel, he sets his foot on big lakeside city to find out if any locals have anything more to tell about story of Volmari Silli.
