Character: Gabriel HollackBorn the son to a brothel whore in the canal district of luskan, gabriel was abandoned at birth. He was brought to the sharran temple within the city, that was only allowed to function due to the mad brotherhoods influence over it. He was taken in by a high priestess within the clergy by the name of Ellisia Westmore. Elissia was a poor excuse for a mother, constantly belittiling, and torturing gabriel with many hours of hard labor until gabriel complaced and figured it the common life beyond the temple where his new mother kept him safeguarded within. Altho many times he wished her ill, gabriel loved her for it was all he knew.
Due to the numerous conflicts with the dark moons order in the city, and the shadow thieves guild of amn, the citizens of luskan demanded peace from the already worn torn nation. The mad brotherhood fearing a upheavel of a growing mob, appeased the masses by betraying the temple and offering the high clergy to the amassed citizens. Gabriel watched on while his mother and six other priests and priestess where hung in front of the temple and burned alive. Fearing more retribution gabriel gathered just the clothes on his back and a simple staff and headed to waterdeep from the memories and nightmares of old.
From the traumatic shock of what he had seen, and from the constant years of isolation within the temple, gabriel created a split personality within his mind to keep himself company from his already lonely life. His mind did not believe at all that his mother had died in the fire, but escaped and constantly watches him from imaginary shadows wherever he goes. So much so that he often speaks in her voice, creating a entire conversation with himself in different voices and mannerisms. And it is not even uncommon for him to write letters never to be mailed and recieving mail from his mother that has not been alive for over 2 years.
Gabriel uprooted from waterdeep and headed toward narfell after recieving a mysterious letter from his mother instructing him to do so. For what he does not yet know.
