Lanli - Dragon Slave No More

From the deserts just north of the dragon coast, Lanli has escaped as far as she could from the red dragon that had enslaved them for over a millennia. Lanli comes from a tribe of wild elves who were once peaceful, nomadic. Though ever since the Great Red One had dominated them, they have become bandits, savages, and thieves, spending many a day raiding caravans and passers by, taking their belongings and killing them on the spot, leaving them for dead, or bringing them as feed for the Great Red One.
Lanli growing up had found the tint of magic in her veins, most likely from the elder mating with one of her ancestors, though charismatic, it is usually displayed through self confidence and draconic arrogance, rarely apologizing for mistakes she does, and showing concern for no one but herself. Standing at five foot three, she isn't a particularly imposing figure, though a feral stare with her amber eyes and sharp canines as she sneers make themselves easily visible and can be an especially intimidating sight. Tanned toned and trim, she excels athletically even if she lacks the martial prowess of the warriors around; Lanli has had some training in bows and long swords to her benefit.
The escape in itself for this young elf who was no more than 110 years old was nothing short of miraculous, as a Wizard's caravan had been raided at that time, pelted with spears, darts, and magic missiles. When Lanli caught up in her horse to slay the wizard, the teleportation spell he had began to cast went off and left her miles upon miles north of her home. Spending a year in hiding, Lanli honed her skills so she could cast spells beyond basic cantrips, and took a fancy to enchantment where she could manipulate others to do her bidding, or put those to sleep without having to slay them when she stole something from the local market.
Now, having found a rather small yet particularly busy towns that reside in Narfell, with a basic grip and understanding of the common language, she strives to excel in her talents as a sorceress and either become powerful enough to take down the elder that tormented her people for so long while fighting an ongoing battle to resist getting more in touch with her draconic side herself.
Suffice to say, Lanli is ambitious, and cold in nature, preferring to keep others at arms length and beyond, giving very few to what she considers truly worthy of her time as friend. With a particularly large distaste for wizards, though she lacks the intellect to discuss matters of the arcane, she has aroused their ire on many an occasion and does tend to choose her words wisely.
