Temple of Tyr Closed
-
As day dawns, citizens of the Civic district express their confusion at the apparent closure of the Temple of Tyr, while in the Commerce and Docks, rumours are already beginning to spread that in the midst of the night guards swept through various parts of town making a series of arrests. There is little hearsay on whether the targets of this batch of arrests resisted or if some escaped, but the general consensus is that they are related to the closure of the Temple; some even say that Senators and Magistrates have been arrested!

:: One of the Magistrates, Barrim makes a public statement and speech in front of the Temple of Tyr, the commons and at the guardtower to the troops. ::
_Citizens, loyal servants of the city…
You may have heard of the arrest of the order of the divine shield and the temporary closure of the temple, i wish to speak of this.
In these sad and dangerous times the arrest of whom are often considered our finest, and the confirmed treason of one of their number Kara brings tears to the eyes of many. Let us not turn aside from the difficult times ahead and let us stand strong in our laws and carry out a full investigation of this affair.
The arrest of the order, has no military influence, as our defender are quite capable of turning back any military threat, we cannot take the risk of loyalty matching Kara's within our walls, our temples and our senate.
Let us hope that the fears are yet unconfirmed.
Once all the necessary legal searches, analysis and investigation is complete the temple can re-open! There are priests of Tyr, Illmater and Torm among us who are not in the order and it is my advice to the city's senate that it should be re-opened for solace, healing and reflection many need in these troubled times.
Rest assured that the citys legal authorities will ensure you are safe within the city as our brave armies ensure the city is safe from outside forces of destruction. The innocent and loyal have nothing to fear, but those who are traitors or supporters of traitors will meet justice.
Long live the Jewel of the Icelace.... The city of Peltarch!_

Word spreads like wildfire across the city that on her return from a trip, the Lady Daisy Millern was very publicly arrested in the Commons, the priestess evidently being charged with Treason and conspiring with an enemy faction, before allowing herself to be willingly escorted to prison by Guard Captain Velhar. Those present at the scene even say Guard General Marcus Ash was present to observe the arrest…

With the Temple of Tyr closed and the city denied its main source of healing and blessings, Dentin has begun spending more and more time travelling troughout the city to tend to the wounds and illness' of the city's population, making a clear point out of prioritising the common folk over the rich and the nobility. Though his home-made balms, ointments and other healing supplies are helpful, his lack of true healing potions can be felt nontheless, and he can only spend so much of Gond's Mendings each day.
