New news

  • Word spreads thru town of new happenstances in the East wood. Where mutated animals and bugs now linger, it seems also a group of corrupted goblins have come back pushing the creatures in to the Rawlins. The corrupted ones seem intent on digging in the area of Skaras and where Vinessa once laired. A figure dressed in black and wearing a skulled mask seems to be directing the goblins in the excavations. Rumor has it the figure is a ghost of some dead demon as he seems to fade away from view and reappear elsewhere seemingly at will.

  • Scouts and travelers in the woods continue to report that the activity in the East Rawlins seems constrained to that area. The Goblin forces there seem more intent on doing what they are doing and keeping intruders out then striking out.

  • Dwin walks through town daily, smiling at all of the citizens of the realm, occasionally pausing to ruffle the hair of a farmer's son, or pinch the cheek of a millworker's baby daughter.

Although there is certainly turmoil to the south in the Rawlins, the lack of one hin doesnt seem to make a huge difference in the daily routine for one dwarven citizen of the realm.

_One might also notice the absence of Dietrick Dardragon from Norwick, a hin who partaked in the ending of a series of troubles plaguing the south.

Rumours speculate he's avoiding the woods due to the crazed animals. Others say he's turned his focus towards threats in the east. Some tales even go as far as to say Dwin's treatment of his messengers bearing warning for Norwick had spurn him off. Whatever could be the reason, it seems the hin just might not be around this time to fight off the new evils growing in the south…_
