Jonni and the mages

  • Raver was spotted high upon one of the new hills, watching through the night…. both the hobgoblins and the workers who came to help.

  • Dentin ignores the pixie for the most part, though one well-placed pebble elicits a grunt and a prompt toss-back. In the evening he leaves, though in the morning it is found he has pitched a tent and a small fire outside of the camp. He spends a good hour or more in the morning observing the line of the wall as it takes shape, making a note and a small sketch in a book, before going back to shovelling and keeping to himself, taking the time to think on things.

  • _After returning from Norwick daily, Aelthas watches the work being done for a bit before getting down and helping by moving logs with Ragnhild. He also goes and has a small talk with Mira for a moment.

After several hours of work he packs up his stuff and walks off into camp, looking exhausted. Heading into his apartment, he seems to wake extra early to give a hand to those working in the morning before heading off to Norwick again.

The routine continues for several days before he finally needs a break from all the work and decides to take a day off and stay home._

  • _The pixie Elanor makes it her mission to rally as many pixies she can, dive bombing the Gondar at random intervals with pebbles, chunks of mud, and pine cones. She never forgets.

Celebring meanwhile tries to remain unassociated with it all, made more Difficult by Elanor's boasts to him.

"Wow! What a hit… Did you see that?!"

"Kelly... Kelly... watch me. Kelly... Kelly... Kelly..."

    … and so forth._

  • A shovelload of sand and dirt flies off course during the works, ending up on Lycka's person when she happens to stray past. Oops.

  • _A glowering Lycka reminds her fellow Warriors that Dentin is not to be allowed in the camp itself, being banned for good reasons. Cold-eyed and glaring, the young battlesinger makes no attempt to hide her aversion and suspicion of the Gondar priest whenever her duties require her to be present at the construction site.

Ragnhild on the other hand, falling easily into the "able bodied person" category, seems not even to notice Dentin, not even when she hauls lumber just past the man. The stronge blonde is otherwise as cheerful and friendly as ever, just solidly and completely ignoring Dentin's existence. To someone like Felix, this behaviour might seem odd, yet to the majority of the camp's inhabitants it is simply the same state of affairs as ever._

  • "Somewhere between Damarra and the abyss."

  • Upon seeing Dentin for the first time in a while, Felix takes the time from keeping the pass clear to bend his ear for a bit.

Dentin! Good to see you, mate! Where've you been, anyway?

  • After a long look at the guard, Dentin gives a brief nod, unstrapping and binding his armor pieces together, before unfolding a military shovel and starting to build up the earthworks. Though working mostly silently, he does bother to ask where they will hew the stone for the wall.. or find the clay for bricks.

  • The Gali he speaks to laughs heartily, cheerfully giving Dentin a rude finger sign, before explaining that the earthworks will support the actual wall

If yer so all fired interested, bring yerself down and give us a hand.

  • _Dentin, who has been absent from the region for a month or two, or more, seems to have resurfaced. Wearing a fairly battered and pierced plate armor (which he doesn't seem to be interested in repairing), he is occasionally spotted observing the construction work. From a distance, of course.

Seeing those lazy gypsies using elementals to build their wall, rather than bricks, mortar and hard work, usually prompts him to leave with a grumble, though at least one gypsy archer was apparantly asked how long he thinks they can keep dragging earth elementals into the camp before they (or Grumbar) decide they have had enough and lower the whole camp below sea level.. or so…._

  • _In a show of boredom, Peppy (Once she figures out what is going on) helps by creating the illusions of walls and towers as they'd look when they're finished, all in an attempt to help with the design….

She's later found somehow walled in by her own illusion in a wooden tower with no exit, heard muttering..._

"Well.. this can't be right. Someone obviously forgot to draw a door."

  • _Celebring is known to have sought help from Du'Mont and her assistant Shopkeeper in regards to the construction. They discuss things like the cost of resources, number of capable Magi and Druids in the camp, dimensions, study groups, and the occasional flirtatious banter.

After becoming confident with it, he spends the next little while uniting the Gypsy Warrior Arcanists and others to help. He goes over the process thoroughly with those unsure, making certain they are confident as well._

Arandor, a master in the art of hauling resources, proves to be a great help in the gathering of necessary lumber. He searches for the uninfected trees before taking them down.

  • Tala grunts and takes up her axe dragging arandor into the woods leaving Sarah to tend to the twins

Green wood is not the best to build anything out of. she mutters

  • Jonni is overheard telling Jaiden and Mira that the plans for the Camp wall is well underway and that Celebring will be overseeing the earthmoving part.

Now to get every able bodied person who can use an axe and we take down some trees to begin the wall
