Champion of Norwick

This was brought this up with Dwin, Maythor, and Lucidious, and it was unanimously approved.
There is now a position open for “Champion of Norwick”. This will be open to anyone who has held Norwick citizenship one year (one RL month). Like “Gold Seeker”, it would be an ongoing position that would require the current title bearer to defend it. In this case, it would be martial combat without magic. Challengers who lost would be forbidden to try again for one year. This combined with the 1 year citizenship should prevent spurious challenges. If the title bearer left Norwick for longer than one year, then the title bearer would fall to the previous one, or be reassigned by the Chancellor.
Technically, the position already exists. It was given to Milshot when Lucidious took over as Chancellor. If Milshot comes back, he will be required to defend it. Otherwise, Dwin will assign it, or setup a contest of arms.
It will be represented by a ring (signet). Lucidious has offered to design it.

Mord is getting a bit long in the tooth for this but will look on with interest as the young bloods go at it. If the crop looks too thin he might have to lay a heavy hand in.
Great idea by the way, I had always liked Maya's position and making it official and now open to challengers fits in with our border barbarian empire
