Character: Adoril SwordhandAdoril is a 33 years old man, who passed his whole life dedicating himself to his family. As a child, Adoril loved to play with swords. Not real ones, though. He was always running around, messing up the neighbors with his wood shortsword, playing with the other kids from the neighborhood. His father was a farmer, as well as his grandfather.
With 17 years old, Adoril met Karla. They instantly fall in love for each other. Soon they started to date. One year later, they were husband and wife. Unfortunately, Karla had a problem. She couldn’t give birth to a child, and Adoril always wished for a son. Yet, he never stopped loving Karla, not even when he discovered about her situation.
By the time they’ve completed 15 years of marriage, Karla got sick. She began to die slowly and after three months fighting for her life, Karla died. Adoril was now by himself. It took some time to get over the death of his wife… but he did. Adoril had now to decide what to do with his life. He was no more a young man, but he had plenty time to live. There was no point on being a farmer anymore. So, he sold his land and decided to become an adventurer. He still knew how to fight, how to handle a sword. Sure, he was no trained swordman, but he was strong enough and healthy enough to face the danger of an adventurer’s life. With that in mind, he became Adoril Swordhand, and old nickname he’d acquired in childhood, and headed Jyyd, seeking exctiment, seeking a purpose to carry on living without his wife by his side.
