Norwick merchant Pricing complaint

(Before this thread gets derailed any further, can we get a mod to lock it? It's clear that this is not an ic issue, so the thread has no real purpose other than for people to spam on.)

A better place for it would have been the Bug Reporting Forum since it is an OOC issue.. it should have been treated just like any spelling mistakes in an NPC conversation.

It is a -purely- OOC way of controlling prices, and because it is -purely- OOC there is never any need to take it IG or IC. There is a difference of course between that though and having Union people beat merchants in dark alleys for underselling them

I wish to have this looked at by the authorities..ei. Longbows sold by Selene are 172 gold.. when crafters union are not allowed to sell Oak longbow below 192 which is equivalent.

Given that we have no real economic system, this sort of price control is necessary. Unfortunately, when the NPC shopkeepers undercut the minimum prices, it cuts the legs out from under the crafters.

It gives us unnecessary headaches and this thread itself serves a good feedback for the SDM of Norwick to read upon and consider the issue.
I apologise to all players present who witnessed the OOC argument made IG which I am responsible for.
