  • on hearing some of those rumour about him being dead he makes it know to those who question and say

    _"Yep i was dead, that low life that was once Chancellor, did stab me but only when i was held down by some guards. i was then sitting by Helms side when some git raised me, to my shock it was the bugbears. they raised me because they thought i would help them against Norwick. I may hate the ex chancellor, but i would not join the bugbears to harm Norwick, i told them to bugger off. They did not take that too kindly, so i killed them and made my escape. Hence how i am alive.

    On saying that Rando goes over to help Ginger unload the ore

    Rando was executed. Lucid did it himself. I never said I burnt his body. It was buried in the graveyard in the Potters Field.

    Shortly afterward the Bugbears invaded. You do the math.


  • When Will hears that Rando has come back to Norwick, his reaction is a bit different.

    "Kind of makes you wonder whose body it was that Dwin burned after Rando was supposedly executed for his crimes in Norwick.


  • Evendur hears rumor of Rando's return during a trip to Norwick. He can be heard speculating to himself:

    "Rando… Rando.... Which one is that again? Perhaps one of those crafting dwarves... Or one of the innumerable traitors to Norwick... I suppose he is not the vampire or demon lord, or there would be more activity... Hrm."

    He shrugs, unconcerned, and goes about his business.


  • _Those who hie themselves to the guardhouse to report/ask about Rando's presence can find Wren Halfabrick carefully taking down the 'BANNED AND WANTED BYE THEE REALM OF NOR-WICKKE: RANDO THE INFAMOUS' poster that has hung in a place of pride on the Rogue's Wall.

    Carefully folding it and storing it, she replaces it with a poster for 'Hagbard Hedges the Sheep-Molestor'._

    "Why?" someone in the crowd calls. Wren shrugs.

    "Guess the boss felt Rando wasn't as much of a menace to public order as old Hagbard. He was taking up prime wall space, you know," she says amiably.

    Someone makes a noise of disbelief. Wren grins and shrugs.

    "Look, if you catch Rando misbehaving with any livestock, maybe we'll give him his place on the wall back, but until then he's the run of the town. Them's orders from the chancellor. That's Dwin this week, just to remind any who may have forgotten. We don't expect any trouble from him, and we don't expect any trouble towards him, if you take my meaning." A faint tone of cynicism in her tone indicates how likely she thinks this is likely to be.

    "Anyway… why are you lot still here? Don't you have anything better to do than watch a woman put up posters? Go catch Hagbard or something, our sheep will thank you."


  • On her way into the trade hall, Ginger smiles and waves,

    Hey Rando! Gimme a hand with this load of ore, will ya?

    looks about alarmed with the possibility of an eminent gate attack

    • Kull is sitting out side norwicks inn, on a bench with both feet one over the other on top of a table, on the table theres few ice cold bottles of ale, few already empty, and a plate with some sliced smoked bacon.
      He is looking about, chewing on some chewing tobbaco and narrows his eyes looking at the road watching the waggon aproaching. When the wagon is close enough to recognise who´s sittig on top, kull widens his eyes and spits to the ground a mouth full of tobacco stained saliva, he stands up…*

    *smiles honestly from ear to ear, grabs two bottles of ale and walks towards the waggon that by now has already stopped and few commoners are standing in front of it.

    smiles at Rando and slams a bottle of ale against his chest
    "here´s a lil taste frem home" grins

    Rando replies

    "Hello Kull old friend, its nice to see you again… as long as its only a hug and not a kiss"

  • *Rando is seen wandering around Norwick, getting used to the new layout. some people he meets on his travels offer a warm friendly smile, others avoid him and call their children over to them like Rando would eat them if they came to close.

    For those who look at Rando he seems older, a long scar runs down his left side of his face to go with the other scares that time itself has forgot how he came by them, but he still has that same old glint in his eye and of course, he is armed to the teeth with two Bastard Swords strapped to his back, a finely crafted bow, knifes on a bandolero across his front armour, two short swords on a belt either side of his wast and a huge shield that is engraved with runes of old Nars.

    But other than that, its the same old Rando of old*

    *Lyte, chatting at the fire at new Norwick, spots the familiar old face sitting on the wagon and heads off to find the Chancellor.

    "I'd feel bad if yet another Norwick Chancellor ended up murdered with a knife in his back, and I didnt try and warn him.", she is heard to mutter.*

    "For we know that the one leading Norwick at the present, be Chancellor Dwin himself.

    Know that Dwin fears not of this past known as Rando he. I ask that all of you do not fear him as well, for he is subjected as a commoner like all of us be and must adhere to the laws of Norwick.

    Seek the militias I ask, if this one known as Rando attempts to break the peace all has earned through sweat and blood. He will be dealt accordingly, firmly and fairly by the Chancellor's hand."
