Darkness
-
The strange darkness that has enveloped the Forgotten City and its surrounding districts has changed in its manner as though the air itself, though thick with the darkness, has an almost electrical charge to it. It seems to have become heavier now, and within it, a quiet hum can be heard by most.
Those living in Oscura, or at least spending time there, are talking about the darkness and what is heard within. Sitting quietly, one might be able to make out what sounds almost like whispers but they come so quickly then retreat the same that it is hard to discern what lies within the faint sounds.
As the hour approaches the early morning, those out and about claim the whispers seem to grow slightly louder but still, nothing of what they say can be figured.
What has caused the darkness and when it will end is unknown to all.

The whispers within the darkness have suddenly ceased. Gone are the incomprehensible murmurs but to those that have a tie to the weave, the pull within the city is quite strong and grows stronger as one moves towards the Undercity.
It is reported that a tremor shook the city and soon after is when the whispers ceased.

The elfin figure of the woman, No-one, is seen walking contentedly in the darkness, stopping often to let it and the whispers within wash over her. Unlike the masked man who seems convinced "He" is coming, she is heard to comment with wonder <e>"She is with us"</e>

Aalaril likes the darkness because Cappin an Mercy and Corana and Sabre can't see him, so they can't yell at him. As much.

The Seer is seeing a lot of visitors, it seems. Even a fat old skald spent some time by her fire chatting with her quietly. She finally went into the tent to sleep and he dozed a while by the front of the tent before moving on.
-
Keira is a more regular visitor to the fires where the Seer is usually to be found. People who observe the crypts would have noticed Keira, Senria, the Seer and Dentin entering at leisure and leaving in significantly more of a hurry. Keira then spends a while in the Libraries poring through history.
Passing commoners and idle gossip would likely pick up that there is something dangerous down there, best not interfered with.

Part time Oscuran resident Sabre Seesaw seems slightly disturbed by the constant darkness, though she mostly settles for grumbling about bumping into lamp posts, benches, townsfolk and even buildings on occasion. Along with her companion and fellow Black Sail Pavel Amblecrown, she has recently been a guest at the fire of the strange woman known as the Seer, engaged in quiet conversation. The pair left the fire looking somewhat troubled, retreating to the docks in pensive silence.. abruptly broken by Sabre stubbing her toe against a rock and letting out a string of curses that would make even the most hardened dock worker blush.

A man in black and grey clothing wearing a crimson and black mask has seems very pleased about the darkness. On occasion someone could hear him remarking "He comes."

On the rare occassion on which Ezachiel still visits Oscura, he actually appears to enjoy the darkness. It doesn't look like he is interested in it ending…he has even started visiting Oscura more since it started, but not too much.
