By order of the Commander of the Militia

  • Notices are place around town in all location so no one can miss as to what has been written

_**By Order of the Commander of the Militia all Legion Members are hereby banned from entering Norwick or its lands. Any breaking these said rules will be arrested.

There is also a warrant of arrest for 'General Grag of the Legion.

    By order**_

  • @290271d2e7:

    • … The chancellor then travels north with the host of guardsmen in full armor close behind and makes his way to jiyyd. *
    • the chancellor leads the norwick guard back into town, followed by grag and a group of legion officers. The chancellor then leads grag and his men into the hall. Shortly after, grag and the legion officers are seen leaving the hall, heading back to jiyyd, apparently offended by whatever happened within the hall. The chancellor emerges perhaps an hour or so later along with dwin. They order the legion ban to be lifted, the issue having apparently been settled. All norwick guard and scouts are informed*

  • Dwin picks up the tossed badge and continues to his office, alone.

  • Rando looks shocked at Foilirs actions

" I will carry out your orders Dwin, let Foilir cool down, get drunk and he will be back"

    • Foilir takes off his militia badge and rod and tosses it to Dwin *

<d>Go fark yerselves.. deh lot of yeh…

    • He walks off towards the dwarven hold but not before staring at the Chancellor as if he were looking at a dead elf *</d>

  • _Dwin arrives in time to see the Chancellor leaving north with a detatchment.

He stands with Rando and Foilir, taking his position in this trio that has been standing side by side in battle for decades.

He glances at both of them, no words need to be said.

Dwin then walks towards the spot where the decree was hung and addresses the troops in the vicinity._

I spoke to the Chancellor before his departure. By his orders, and mine, the ban on Legion-lasses in Norwick STAYS until BOTH of us rescind it. He's headin' up there now to talk to 'em.

This aint about a badger, although that badger is me own pet so I am a bit pissed. This is about them farks treatin' our guards with disrespect.. and about them ignorin' direct orders. It aint the first time…hence the ban.

Any legionnaires walk through that gate, in legion armor or not... they are to be arrested. "No harm" (he smirks) is to come to them, but they are to be shown to a cell with all possible civility. The sarcasm on his last few words was so think that even a dead badger would see it.

    Any questions? Good.

Foilir, Dwin and Rando walk back towards the barracks.

  • Ezachiel reads one of the notices, doesn't say or do anything for a full half minute, then starts laughing, even though his facial expression remains the same. After about two minutes, he coughs and walks away, still chuckling occasionally.

  • A particular one eyed, silver haired swordsman frowns slightly, revealing a hint of concern.

"One hopes…that despite the unwelcomed status of the Legions, the relations between Jiyyd and Norwick is not affected from this ruling.

Despite my curiosity of the reasons of such unexpected hostility between Norwick and the Legions, my majority of the concern lies in if Norwick will still offer Jiyyd any form of aide in its inevitable times of crisis and if the citizents of Jiyyd are allowed to seek refuge under the protection of Norwick's militia?"

    • The guards look to Foilir and Rando tehn between each other confused at the chancellor's conflicting order.

Foilir shakes his head in a manner suggestion to disregard the posturing elf *

  • *the chancellor is seen leaving the great hall with a host of guardsmen following him. The chancellor speaks with the guard in town on duty making clear that no legion are to be harmed until he returns. Fendon takes down the standing order (by the request of the chancellor) until he returns so that there is no confusion about his order to not harm any legion in town.

The chancellor then travels north with the host of guardsmen in full armor close behind and makes his way to jiyyd.

    • Watches William walk off with a smile, then frowns *

Me best go inform deh friar dat his market in small diamonds is goin teh suffer.

    • Motions towards William with his thumb as the guards start to laugh *

His best customer goin teh be wettin deh ground elsewhere…...

    • Stops and looks at them *

But at least yeh got yehself a target dat jump in front of arrows..

    • He winks at them and walks off as they laugh heartily *

  • ((you should expect that Legionnaires walking around (or near the outside walls) Norwick would arrested if they appeared to be snooping))

  • Elor goes around Norwick to find any guard or militia willing to tell him why exactly the Legion as a whole is now banned from Norwick.

  • _The fellow laughs at Folir's comment, and turns a moment.

"I'll see if I can get the General to take you up on that, dwarf. Neutral ground. You pick your one militiaman, he'll pick his ten Legionnaires, and we'll see who walks away and who has to be carried.

As to leaving your town, I got only as close as required to find out I was banned - and I am leaving, as the ban requires."

    With that, he continues north._

    • Foilir laughs at the comment and retorts *

"Un norwick militia werth 10 legionaires. nae confuse quantity wit quality yeh daft arrow target."

    • Face goes quickly dark *

"Now out of town! Anna nae make me say it twice.."

    • Looks to Rando *

"Post guards at deh cemetary as well… Me is goin teh make sure dis feller is nae headin fer his regular 'forays' inteh deh woods..."

    • Smiles and waves at William *

  • _A fellow in blue and black armor reads the notice, and chuckles to himself, then walks off. Anyone close enough might hear him remark to no one in particular, that it will be interesting to see how they intend to enforce the arrest warrant for General Grag outside Norwick's lands - and if they don't intend to, then it was a bit silly to name him specifically, since he would be covered under the general ban.

The last thing he is heard to say as he heads north, is that Norwick had better hope they are not attacked by goblins and the like anymore - since Legionnaires typically make up far more of the defenders than Norwick militia do._
