Jiyyd Rumors
-
A large and solid party of adventurers were led out to the caves in search of a missing hin girl by the infamous Black Sail, Devlin. Suspicion and talk upon their beaten and bloody return is that there was no missing girl and he'd found word of some treasures and ruins to desecrate and loot.
There must have been some truth in that, for the happy adventurers were seen distributing finds in the square of Jiyyd. All returned well except for a half-orc who seemed less seasoned than some of the older hands. Of note were Sir Shannon's might in combat against the undead horde and the druid, wolf's, steadfast support of the pack.
// Thanks to DM Sunshine for a frantic and tense series of battles in the darkness.

Star rolls her eyes <e>Ginger is nice lady but if told her sky was green she believe you even if look up and see blue.</e>

_A curious sight.
An elf that is rarely seen, wandered in to Jiyyd, dressed in her black and red armour and scratching her bum. The veterans would know her, and with her the age old legend that where the elf went, trouble and chaos followed.
To most new people it was just an elf, and nobody gave her much notice as she lined up with a group of adventurers discussing heading out.
Barly any time had passed before a hin made some comment about her armour, which prompted the elf to make a reply in the form of this. "It is made of skinned 'alflings."
A moment silence and a look of confusion later, Ginger stood face to face with the elf demanding her to hand over the armour, wanting it confiscated. The elf looked at the hin in disbelief, and with it a few rounds of insults and shouts, the elf was seen going "Piss off, I am goin' home", wandering to the gate.
Head turns as Ginger charged and attacked the elf. Out of nowhere darkness surrounded the two, leaving no traces of the elf, and Ginger was last seen running in the direction of the Nars.
Rumors goes that Ginger is wanted for assault.
What happened to the elf? Was her armour really halfling skin? All this remain uncertain, but there is destined to be one age old veteran out there snickering going "the legend still holds true."_

Word spreads of a large group of adventurers recently making the trip east though the worg cave to mintas. Seems Ginger and the Chancellor of Norwick rounded up the group to search for ancient artifacts and treasure within the ruins. They returned days later, all in good health, with stories of an undead horde and what they thought to be a death knight within the temple in mintas. From the stories told, the group could not find a way to destroy the death knight … the creature simply re-appeared again and again to battle Shannon, Steelfin, Aelthas and the other brave adventurers there that day. (( sorry, cant remember everyone atm )) The party was eventually forced from the ruins with what items they managed to uncover before the appearance of the death knight.

Rumors of an unknown man appearing in Jiyyd with no Belongings and nearly frozen to death can be heard throughout the town. The man seemingly suffering from a case of amnesia can be seen standing up top the watch tower, as if he is on Duty, on other occasions the man is seen spending time at the Sisterhood with Children and has even been witnesses spengding long hours in silent contemplation by the waterfall in the Silver Valley as if he is waiting for someone

Daerus was seen entering the tavern with Melanie Stern. The innkeep noted that he had several arrows protruding from him and inquired as to what occurred. The innkeep's recollection of what the scarred knight told him is that Daerus and Sarvalos chanced upon the bags of a fallen adventurer. Not able to identify the owner of the property as all bodily remains had been dragged off by dire wolves, Sarvalos picked up the pack and the two searched for the body to bring back to town. Daerus told him that they were then set upon by a very quick and very hostile elf. Daerus believes that the elf is a bandit and may have had a hand in the death of the unfortunate and unknown adventurer.
All else the innkeep would say on the matter is that Melanie attended to the Crimson Knight's wounds and then both went on their own ways.

((That is a great rumour. ::Is still giggling::))

Attack of the Jellies!: When desserts go horribly wrong
Cries and screams of horror can be heard across the town of Jiyyd.
"THE DESSERTS ARE HUNGRY! ITS THE JELLIES! RUN!" _A hysterical scream could be heard from one of the patrons as he flees from the Rats & Bats.
As soon as the stampeding crowd fled the cave, giganatic cube like jellies began squirming its way out of the cave in a snail-like manner and began digesting the unfortunate cows and chicken by the ranches.
Fortunately, a group of adventurers were present to quench the hunger of the jellies by basically hitting them hard enough with something bigger than the usual teaspoons and forks. Their bravery finally led them to the jellies' lair which was the cooking cauldron in the Rats & Bats.
What actually really happened inside the restaurant with the encounters between the adventurers and the jellies were not known but the town commoners noted there was a loud rumbling explosion coming from within the caves. A strong smell of krick (A special orc spice) lingers out of the cave, causing the folks in Jiyyd to suffer from a brief teary eyed, running nose moment.
One of the adventurers, a white haired one eyed swordsman could be heard remarking in a grumpy manner regarding of the incident,_ "I won't be having desserts for quite awhile, especially ones with funny names like 'Kutuulhoo jellies' which you are suppose to eat, not to be eaten!"
Truly, the Rats & Bats is only meant for brave adventurers with an infinitely hungry stomach to venture into.//Thanks DM Appar, I was ROFLing all along

@b7e56cf798=chripso:
Rumor has it Grag and Keira are the newest item.
When Jerr hears this he laughs and thanks the teller for brightening his day. He leaves the gates giggling softly to himself.

Rumor has it Grag and Keira are the newest item.
-
_Keira still frequents Jiyyd and seems on good terms with most of the locals, particularly Grag. Whatever drove her to an uncharacteristic display of aggression and possessiveness seems to have passed.
She adds nothing to general rumor beyond her presence_
// Individual requests for information welcome. Thanks to Caoimh for making my life more complicated!
-
Ting is heard to remark that white stags are clearly creatures of great evil and that they ruined her life… but then again ... the elf has been known to be a little bit crazy at times...
-
Hearing the rumor as he passes through town, Genzir remarks that Keira should know better, and if she's still killing white stags without at least giving due honor to the woodland gods, she's probably just trying to provoke people and deserves no sympathy for these incidents.
-
_An incident occured in Jiyyd where a druid with no shoes attacked Keira for killing a white stag. The attack occured right in the middle of the commons with guards clearly watching. It seems the angry druid didnt care for consequences and swung his sword.
Keira walked out with Lilly to the sisterhood, and the druid followed. Another fight broke out between the two. Keira managed to knock down the druid once, but as soon as he got up, he angrily knocked her down and she did not get back up for some time. Lilly interfered, tripping the druid as he wasnt watching her… allowing Keira a few nasty kicks in. She continued to kick the druid and was also needed to be subdued by onlookers.
Justene said that the druid is not allowed back into Jiyyd. It seems this only proves the stero-type of druids being overly agressive, similiar happenings taking place with the negotiations of the Yaun-ti._

Rumors spread fastly of a woman in dark clothing preaching about the yuan-ti and words of norwick signing a treaty with them. She was also seen talking to a important elf in white and grey about how the yuan-ti plan to enslave everyone like the suarials are. she was heard frantically screaming.. "Yes Master, Yes Master" as the soon fate of those that side with the Yuan-ti…....
-
After a drow and a host of spiders attacked the town over several days, a sizeable group came across a Yuan-ti mage or priestess on the road. The rumors vary, but the common thread is that the Yuan-ti wish a treaty or help against the drow and a certain Enchantress. Some of the rumors suggest that the Keeper and Archdruid seriously considered the proposition so far as naming a date to meet with the Yuan-ti again. Others suggest the druids were once again fearlessly aggressive in the face of peaceful negotiations.

A noticeably angry Fadia has been seen in town asking about the situation. Once answers start coming, she begins looking for wolf…still looking pretty damn angry
