Dead Animals
-
_Throughout the Rawlins, the scattered corpses of dead animals can be seen. Some have acidic burn barks or holes in them, others have large bruises throughout their bodies, and some seem to have been struck by a bolt of lightning.
New corpses are found only at night._
-
_In the hours before dusk, the elf Eluriel - a distinctive figure on account of the streak of shocking silver running through her dark blue hair - moves through the Rawlins in plain view.
While in many situations slow to speak to folk unknown to her, the wilds are Eluriel's domain and in service to her god her confidence is absolute._
Disguised in friendly conversation comes the hidden warning that Guardians of Nature called The Wolves of Narfell are said to watch over the wilds and all those who travel them without causing harm. Apparently, it is said that they are not seen unless that is their wish.
As Eluriel bids a friendly farewell, she clasps shut her cloak that is woven from threads of many varied hues and soon it is hard to pick out her slim figure in the gathering gloom.
