Remnant Aura - The Prestory
-
_The night was dark. Elenana had now been layin in pain for hours. She screamed, she screamed loud. Even though her hand was held by the nun Jollanne, she didnt feel that it helped her at all. In her daze of pain she muttered many curses over the man who did this to her. She cursed him loudly, she cursed him good.. However
Thoose that were beside her did not join in on theese curses, no, not at all. Instead the chanted another curse. They chanted a curse that would doom the child that was to be born. They aided this birth, not for the child, but for the mother! The mother I tell you!_
The drunkard hoisted yet another ale to his mouth and drank richly, before slamming the mug to the table, his remaining eye looks at the ones gathered.
I shall tell you the tale, as sad it may be, I can say now, the tale is not finished yet!
The drunkard chuckles to himself
Oh gods no, it is not finished yet!
The drunkard laughs, almost manicly…
You see, the woman that I was speaking about, she was elven, you see! Aye, one of them fair, lithe woodelves. Ahh, she was beeautiful, oh yes! Like the wind itself, she hunted game through the forest, always devouted, always earthbound, untill that day..
the drunkard sips his ale before he continues
They were attacked, you see… Oh yes, they were attacked by them evil Drow, dark elves in servive of thier lady, the Queen Spider! They attacked her village without mercy.. They did not stand a chance! Though It is no like they had bad warriors, no, I was one of them, wich is why i can tell this story to you, no.. They were overwhelmed... One warrior can only handle so many foes, before there is just no more chance of blocking incoming attacks... No, it was not that they had bad fighters... no .. she was one of them!
_The dark elves gradually gained conrol of the vast battle. Aye, they did.. Soon, the elves found themselves fighting against their darker sisters and brothers within their own cities….
That is what she did.. the line of defense fell back to her own home. She could not leave it! She would die or live here, she knew, so she stayed.. She stayed an fought...
Alas, she knew that a battle that is lost is hard to fight.. and eventually, she and her compatriots lost.. The darkelves was too overwhelming! I heard, though, she she was cept alive.. when the dark elves found her, with a broken sword and a broken shield, she still stood tall.
Even the darkelves recognised her has a firece warrior and took her to capture instead of slaying her right away… As she was beautiful, she was taken to one of their champions.. Yes, she was taken to a darkelf shadowdancer, as reward for his conquerings in this war. She was relutant, to say the least..
Alas...
With him, and his cruel methods, he managed to tame her, not only enough for him, but also for her to be his slave, to do anything at his will, his slightest facial expression.
However...
The wood elven spirit is hard to quell. As a counter attack was launched against the dark elven stronghold, he was forced to leave his underlings. She had longed for this oppertunity, and took the only chance she had. She leaped out of the closest window, praying to Tunare that she would miss the sharp and unforgiving rocks and cliffs beneath the tower. And she did.. miraculously!
Several days afterwards, she found herself on a desolate road.. Her arms still bound by the schackles of captivity in the dark eleven lair, she still found the courage to call for aid to the human caravan she saw in the distance.
Of course, theese merchants saw the oppurtunity to sell the young woodelf as a slave, her shackles meant that she had training in the matter. however, she was pregnant. As they would not let their "gold chest" go to waste, they cared for her birth.. and that is where we are, good folks.. now listen to me, and ye shall know what happened after the first was born!_
the drunkard leaned backwards to swollow the last of his ale, before ordering a new pint
